I didn't want to leave, They wanted to keep Kayla and Zara in for a few days just to make sure everything was okay before sending them home, Kayla kept insisting that I left, and got some proper rest but I didn't want to leave, Zara felt like a dream I didn't want to leave her side and I wanted to make sure Kayla was okay too, I girned as my phone rang "I'll be five minutes " I said heading out to a quieter part of the hospital.

"Hello," I said simply

"Mika we were wondering if you'd be in today I know youve just had a child but we gave you yesterday off we thought you'd be in today"

"Do you not have anyone to cover? " I said surprised he was being asked.

"No, you're expected"

"We'll I won't be coming in for the rest of the week in fact if you can't give me time off to be with my child then I quit," I said I hated the job and I was sure I could get a job even if it was helping out at school but I couldn't stay there, I had enough saved that we'd be okay for a few months and still had a little money coming in from adverts I did plus my savings, I hoped I hadn't made a mistake.

I walked back to the hospital room I saw Paloma and Yasmine"Your here" I said excited, Mum dad, Zuleika, and Fortune had already visited "Of course, we want to meet our Neice" Paloma smiled hugging me

" She perfect," I said as We headed into the hospital room

"Look Who I found" I smiled softly

"Hey" Kayla smiled rocking Zara

"She's so cute" Paloma smiled going to sit down

"Do you want to hold her?" She asked

Paloma looked at Mika unsure, "I don't want to drop her" She says unsure

"I trust you," I said I understood her worries but I had faith that she wouldn't despite her disability.

She nodded as Kayla passed her Zara rocking her slowly.

"See," I told hir "Zara Alice Dawson Penniman"

"Flower?" Yasmine Whose Arabic was much better than mine said

"I wanted something Arabic and we both liked Zara so it was perfect" I explained watching my family I still couldn't believe this was real but it was perfect.

They arrived home a few days later, Kayla was asleep HSe needed the rest, Mama was coming over later to help but currently, I was just happy as I was holding my daughter, I had to go back to college soon but I didn't want to worry about that now, I sang softly as i rocked her hoping she would get to sleep soon.
