*CRACKLE* *BOOM*

The storm seemed to roar like a pack of wolves who just found a herd of sheep. Guests screamed on board as the waves began to stir. Tord knew this couldn't be good so he flew away desperately to get away from the dangers. Strikes of lightning hit the sea and then plunged the ship like a sword. Flames began to engulf the wooden planks and ate everything in its path. People screamed and some even jumped off the decks desperately. Matt guided the guests to the lifeboats which luckily were still intact despite the storm.

"Your highness what about you?" The guest with yellow necklace panicked.

"Don't worry about me! Just get to safety!"

Matt insisted as he then noticed Mark wasn't amongst the guests. He must've tried to get Ringo out of the flames.

"MARK!"

He called out desperately as he ran on the decks to find his companion stuck under a bunch of broken wood, poor Ringo mewling for help.

"MATT JUST LEAVE ME! PLEASE THE PEOPLE NEED YOU!" Mark begged as Matt tried to pull him out. The prince said nothing as he ran with his servant and cat to the lifeboats. Matt stroked the cats forehead as Mark sat in the boat. Matt himself was about to get in to escape from the burning ship when he felt the ship rock and he slipped from the decks. Falling into the sea with huge force. He tried to swim up but... he was so tired and sore, he lost all the strength he had and sunk under the waves, hearing Mark call his name desperately before everything went black.

Edd could only stare in horror as the storm rolled on and people screamed and suffered, the burning ship breaking into pieces that fell into the water.

"EDD WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!" Tom insisted. He was shaking with fear as his black eyes seemed to turn pure white and sweat was on his little head. Edd nodded and dove back under the waves. He was about to swim back to his home when he heard a voice cry out-

"MATT!!!"

Edd looked to find the blond male in indigo with tears in his eyes. The guests of the ship panicking and weeping as Edd noticed the prince trying to keep afloat but then sinking under the water like an anchor. Edd couldn't let the prince die as he dove under the surface. He had to save him!

And so he swam to the prince and grabbed him, bobbing back up to the roaring surface of the water. Lightning stepped on the oceans like it was trying to wipe a measly bug. Edd hugged the unconcious prince, kissing his forehead as he prayed he wouldn't die. Swimming faster than he ever had before, Edd traveled the vast sea as Matt rested on his chest, coughing up water every now and then. As hours passed, the merman eventually stumbled across the princes castle, breathing with exhaustion.

He laid by the unconcious prince's side worrying if he was alive or not as Tord flew down from a palm tree where his nest laid.
