"My voice? Without my voice, how can I-" Edd was interrupted by Bing's cackling laughter as Larry let out a feel chuckles himself at the enterance of the cave.

"OH CMON! ITS EASY! USE YOUR LOOKS, YOUR PRETTY FACE! AND DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE IMPORTANCE OF BODY LANGUAGE~"

Bing laughed swaying his hips. Edd stood there uncomfortably while Tom gritted his teeth at the witch. Edd  calmed down his companion by petting his back and stroking the top of his head. As much as this scared him, he knew this was a part of the deal in order to get what he wanted. He knew that this would be the only way to go on land to be with Matt...

His thoughts soon disappeared as he saw Bing pull out a large scroll of ancient parchment as the potion was complete. He poured the substance into a bottle and covered it with a lid as the contents inside changed color to what seemed to be the shade of blood drops on white sand. The seawitch then pulled out a fishbone that resembled a pen from above the waves, eyesockets hollow and cracked.

"Just sign here, Eddie!" The sea witch cackled as Edd took the fish bone and scratched the paper with his name, feeling his heart pound faster than ever before in his life. He shut his eyes and bit his tounge as he felt the fish bone disappear from his hand and the sea witch's voice echo;

"ITS DONE THEN!" The scroll vanished into glittering specs as Bing casted a spell in order to get Edd's voice, the payment he needed in order to give him the potion.

"Beluga sevruga ,

Come winds of the Caspian Sea,

Larynx Glossitis,

et max laryngitis,

La voce to me~"

"NOW... SING" He demanded as his shell necklace glowed and two ghastly claws appeared from the air. Edd gulped and did as told;

"AHHH~ AHHH~"

"KEEP SINGING!!!" Bing shouted as Edd's throat glowed and the hands went close to his face.

"AHHHHHHH~ AHHH-"

The fingers pulled Edd's glowing voice out of his throat, which still sang its wonderful song that echoed in the cave of the whale carcass. The voice got sucked into Bing's shell necklace as the witch licked his lips and threw the potion to Edd.

"Drink up loverboy~", he chuckled darkly, biting the head of a squirming fish.

Edd felt his throat as he exited the sea witches home, dry and barren like one of those deserts from Tords land stories. Tom clinged onto his arm as Edd swam to the surface. Normally Tom never willingly went up above, but he couldnt let Edd go on such a life changing journey alone... What if he lost him forever?

It was nearly midnight as the moon shone brightly over the waves. Edd bobbed his head above the sea looking at the potion in his grasp. Made of pure glass and sealed with a fish's tail as a lid, the red liquid swished inside. He took a deep breath and unscrewed the fish tail lid, Tom bracing himself for whats to come.

The moon shone brighter and brighter as Edd forced the liquid down his throat. It brought unbearable pain as the last drop entered his body. He dropped the now empty bottle and clenched his stomach. The merman's insides aching in pain as if he were being stabbed over and over again with sharp needles of a pufferfish. The pain was so unbearable, Edd ended up fainting on the shore in silent agony. His shimmering green tail felt as if it was being split by a sharp sword. When he fell onto the sand, Tom tearfully hugged him tightly praying the potion didn't take his life and that hed wake up when the sun rose. He was so overwhelmed with grief, the crab didnt notice the fact Edd's tail fin splitted and began to form into human legs...
