Hey guys! So, to speak a little about this poem, it is NOT MINE. Yes, it's written by a very special teacher of mine. My old english teacher. Her name is Mrs. Sima Rani Das. I'm very grateful to her for whatever she's taught me and I just want to post her poem so that everyone can know how beautiful it is. This poem is a very special poem for me and for her so I really hope you people like it. It has a very nice meaning to it, so I hope you could go to the depth of it and understand it. Read along.

MY GRANDMA SANG ME A SONG
One evening when I was around eleven
Or may be twelve
My grandma sang me a song with a story
That somewhere in a far distant land,
Lived generations of a very brave man
Rising with the sun they worked through the day,
And return as the earth received moon's first ray
They were righteous people with a strong heart.
But God deprived their descendants oh his blessings
For the oldest man in the forsaken hill
Took the life out of a man to kill
The soul must be thrown out of seven hills
Else the cloud gets cold and heaven sealed
He thought and smiled
But God cursed the man for killing another man
They never again felt God's blessings in that distant land
Thus my grandma sang me a song one evening
Well! There is a story in every song.
