Sonic the hedgehog, the hero of Mobius, had a problem. He was currently stuck in a large glass cage, courtesy of the one and only Dr Eggman.
"Gya ha ha ha ha!" A familiar voice rang from a speaker on the ceiling, and as a screen flickered to life on the wall, Sonic groaned quietly in slight annoyance as he saw who it was, even though he already knew. Eggman grinned at him through the screen. "You've fallen right into my trap hedgehog! This glass cage was made specifically to hold you! It's fireproof, waterproof, bulletproof, laser proof, and most importantly, hedgehog proof! It's practically indestructible Sonic, don't bother trying to escape!" The doctor cackled evilly as Sonic turned away for a moment so Eggman wouldn't see him chuckling and rolling his eyes in amusement.
"Yup, you've got me this time egghead!" Sonic raised his hands in mock surrender "There's no way I can escape, so what's there to worry about? Hurry up and go execute your evil plans or whatever, I'm not going anywhere." Dr Eggman seemed stunned by him giving up this easily, but didn't really question it. "That's right hedgehog, give up! With you trapped, I will take over the world and destroy your friends one by one while you watch!" Sonic flinched slightly at the mention of his friends but maintained his relaxed, cheeky expression as the doctor finally disappeared from view.
"So now what?" A floating golden hedgehog much like Sonic muttered to himself as another gold hedgehog with glowing red circles for eyes slid up next to him. "Let just break out," said the red eyed one "We could shatter the glass easily and mess the place up." He grinned at the other, who sighed softly, closing his eyes. "Fleetway, we can't just do that," he said, opening his eyes "Yeah Fleets, Super is right. I don't know if you noticed, but Eggman set up cameras everywhere and I'm pretty sure everyone is a bit busy fighting robots." Both gold hedgehogs looked down to see none other than Sonic himself looking up at them.
A hedgehog clad in golden armor and welding a sword appeared next to him "Thou is correct, we mustn't act before reasonably assessing the current situation." Said the armor clad hedgehog. "Yes Excalibur, we should not act irrationally, or else we all might be in danger." Super said landing softly on the ground. "We will think of a plan, but in the meantime..." Super turned to Sonic, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Go back to the real world and see if there's any way to get out of here without Dr Eggman noticing." Sonic nodded and closed his eyes, suddenly vanishing in a glow of light.
"Godspeed and we shall hopefully see him anon."
"Excalibur speak English please."
Sonic slowly opened his eyes, back in real life. As he regained his bearings, he remembered Super's words and looked around. He stared at the cameras, seeing if he could figure out how the room worked. Then all of a sudden he felt something. It wasn't very powerful but it was definitely a small surge of energy, and not just any energy...it was Chaos energy.
"Guys! I think I know how we can get out of here!
