Isabelle nervously sat on her bed while the older women in her life pray and council her about the marriage life. She would smile and pout at a point when they spoke.
Today being the big day, her stomach twist and turn making her extra nervous. Was she ready? Yes! Rethinking her decision? No! Is she happy? Definitely a huge Yes!
"Okay y'all I'm nervous" she mumbled.
The women laughed leaving the poor young lady to yearn for their comfort more.
"We have been there baby girl" they said in sync.
One after the other they help soothe Isabella's nervousness and cheer on her. "Today's a big day, be in a good mood, feel great.." Gogo Trina comfort.
The women nodded. "Think of the big step you're making, you're going to be a companion to another human, a good one so stay happy and again feel great, remember our energy affects people around us" Aiyana says
"You know he would annoy you and all that but that man is going to be a support system just as you're going to be for him. Always involve God for he makes all things beautiful" Genevieve added.
"You know your pa's and I story was rocky but love and humanity conquered all. Forgiveness also plays a role and being an understanding woman I know I brought you up as such. Accept his values and teach him yours too so things gets easy." Missy said smiling at her child.
They went on and on till it was almost time. "Can I see her?" A male voice said. The women hovered around her preventing him from seeing his bride before time..
"You know you're not to see her yet" the women scolded.
"Come on y'all know it's a myth" the women shrug and laughed agreeing with him. They let him in and exited the room..
"I guess I've got to change my make up since you've see me" Bella joked
"You got jokes huh" he smiled sitting beside her. Holding her hand he said "you look divine"
"Babe, I want you to know-
"You're not calling this off right?" Bella interrupts
"I would never do that because it is you I want, I've always want you. I won't do anything to jeopardize our relationship, today I want you to know that I am ready for this big step. We are doing the right thing and I am up for every second of it.. You're the woman I prayed for, a selfless woman, a soulmate. I thank God for you." He said kissing her cheek..
"Why are you all teary Mir? Now I'm teary too. My make up" Bella pouted making him laugh.
"Boy I hope this ain't your vows haha" she joked. "I want you to also know that I want this too, I won't have asked for any other person but you Amir and I won't get tired of loving you, all of you because you make me love me too.."
The men had to pull Amir out of the room because ole boy was all hugged on Bella.

The church glow making the people brightly shine. Everyone waited patiently waiting for the bride to arrive.

An applause was given after the song.
The couple smiled at each other and now faced the pastor.
"You may all be seated" he said to the congregation.
"Beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of the Almighty to bless these beautiful couple who are taking the next step in their relationship. Marriage as we all know was created by God and he blesses these Union as he would today. He created marriage for joy, love, peace, companionship and if he permits there's a procreation of children to nurture"
"In this Union, Isabella and Amir has come to be joined.. If anyone here has a prove to show as to why thie couple should not be lawfully wed, speak now or forever hold your peace" he said looking out for anyone..
No one speaking up he continued "now to you two if any of you hold a grudge or have reasons not to wed please speak."
The couple looked at each other and mouth a no.
"Okay Isabella, Do you take Amir as your lawfully wedded husband to live in the covenant of marriage? To love him, comfort him, love, honor and respect him in good health, despair and be faithful to him as you both live?" He read out to Isabelle
"Yes I do" she smiled
He read out same words to Amir which he gladly said "Yes I do"
"Time for your vows" the pastor said
The couples said their vows, helped each other with the rings. Now it was time for the most waited. The kiss!
The congregation cheered as soon as the pastor announced "You may now Kiss your bride" they shared a simple kiss disappointing the crowd who seemed to have want a show.
The pastor cleared his throat and said "Now men and women in this church, I present to you your newly wed couple"
They rejoiced and part ways. Most head to the celebration party while others casually go on about their business.

At the reception, the couple had their dance and played games.. people goof around, majority socialising and the few getting drunk.
The couple said their good byes to their loved ones and depart for their honey moon.
