Chapter 20

*pardon mistakes*

I woke up as the airplane abruptly lands. Amir greeted me with a kiss and said "sleeping beauty is finally up" I smiled and puts on my shades making our way out of the airport.

The sun greets us brightly as it shines in our faces but bless the heavens for sunscreen.

The ride to the resort was more relaxing and soothing. We rode in comfortable silence, I got to rest and so did Amir.
We were slightly tired that sight seeing didn't really amaze us at the moment but the place really had great buildings and sceneries you would spot nevertheless.

So I guess we have got to take a tour later since we are staying a week.

The ride soon came to a stop, stopping at a beautiful building with heavenly serene. I smiled breathing in the flowering scent. Amir helps me down the car and we happily entered a room that looked like the reception.

"The newlyweds!" The receptionist chirped handing me a banquet of fresh dark red roses and a room key that read 'to the newly weds, enjoy your stay!' She was so beautiful that she could qualify for a model even at her age. She looks 30 or even more.

We smiled at her and continued to admire the beautiful place.

'I've been to resorts but this one screams elegance' I admired as we were ushered to our suite.

"You have them do all this?" Amir said in awe.
He moved his arm making his muscles flex in the shirt in wore.
He looked around the room full of our favourite scented candles,yes the room was giving  'newlyweds' vibes. We loved every bit of it.

I smiled, nodded and said "I had to, I know all this reservations made did not come with these goodies so I had to go extra for us hubby"

"Hubby huh?" He laughed making me laugh too "that's so weird wifey" he added.

"Dang, keep to the babe, this sure is weird and all new" I said. "Well what's a honeymoon without a wife, oopss my baby" he joked.

"Boy don't start, come here" he smiled and walked to me giving me a forehead kiss.

After settling in, we rest in bed a while.

"What do you want to do tonight babe" he whispered.
To tease him I replied "to take a shower" he smiled and help me get ready.

It was a couple bathe so we had enough time to converse and laugh over wine while 'Muni Long's- Hrs and Hrs slowly played'

"Yours, mine, ours. I could do this for hours, sit and talk to you for hours" I sang smiling ear to ear.

"I love you so much" he murmured kissing my lips trailing it down my necks then back to my lips. With my eyes closed, he could tell I was enjoying the moment so he laughs and suddenly stops making me pout. "Such a tease!"

"Why would you do that Mirrrrr" I dragged

"Let me get you cleaned up" he simply stated.

I allowed him, reciprocating same actions. I dried my hair while he goes to the bedroom to put on our favourite playlist.

I look through the closet full of beautiful clothing deciding on what to wear. A few seconds and found her..

"This works" I sheepishly smiled

I did a few switch ups and viola!

I cleared my throat making Amir look up at me. I wore a lingerie and had my hair down.

He smiled and gently pulled me into him, I love it when he does that so I slightly moan.

"did I ever mentioned burgundy looks good on you" he whispered.
