GROWTH

Chapter 14

Bella sits patiently waiting for the nurse to call out her name, everything was smooth until frequent morning sickness and extra mood swings these past days. Her phone rang bringing her attention to it, the screen read 'Farouk' she frown finding it annoying. "Its too early"  she thought

Ignoring it, the nurse called her, she smiled at the nurse as she made her way inside. She smiled looking at the familiar face she knew since her childhood, the psychotherapist that helped her mom, Dr. Susan. Bella looked around the room feeling comfort within her, a feeling she would refer to as peace. The room was painted white and light purple with welcoming paintings/ artworks.

"what's brings you by babe girl?" Susan said standing to hug her, her mother being her friend made Bella her daughter.

"Uh I came for a test and I thought I should pass by and say hello" she smiled

"Girl, this here says you booked a whole appointment with me" Susan said looking at the computer screen.

Bella looked away, procrastinating to lie or let this slide. She had come here not for only the pregnancy test but to see if she could do therapy too, she may feel at peace but to try to up open almost healed wounds was upsetting her peace.
Susan cleared her throat bringing back her attention. "Right, you know you are always busy so I had to ha" Bella said.

Susan hummed saying "what test did you come here for boo?"

"Pregnancy test, I'm sure I'm not pregnant I just want to be sure" she said

"Why are you sure you are not?"

"I mean I am in my month as we are speaking, probably just immune changes."

Susan nodded "okay but you could still be in your period and be pregnant baby, do your parents know?" She asked

Bella laughed a little brushing the seriousness in her voice. Her parents  is her everything but she's a big girl doing adults stuff so any responsibility would be on her.

"Until I'm sure, I'm not telling" Bella smiled.

After catching up and Susan's fails to get Bella to go deeper with their conversations she gave up thinking today was a first which to her was a great start.

"Say hello to your ma for me" she said while hugging Isabelle. Bella nodded and made her way out the huge hospital.

She got herself lunch before heading to her apartment. She smiled seeing Farouk's car outside. "Urghh" she said surprised how the man could make her frown and smile. Weird

"You have a key to the apartment why is you outside" she said as he came out his car immediately she came out hers.

"Nothing ma, here have this"  he said handing her a banquet of dark roses with a bottle of white wine and kissing her cheeks in process.

"Awwwnn your so sweet Farouk" she thanked him smiling hard but suddenly hid her blush.

Farouk caught it "your fine self blushing?" He tease trying to pinch her cheeks.

Ignoring him they both entered the house. Settling in they both change into comfortable clothing.

"Can we cuddle?" Farouk asked. His voice was so shaking that it shook Isabelle. She cared so she was concerned.

"Are you alright?" She said examining his actions.

Hey, I wrote this yesterday but I forgot to publish it😢. Too much on a Sissy's plate, chapters are shorter now sowieee I will try and update sooner.
