Chapter 11

*Pardon mistakes*

Farouk
After Bella's dad assuring me that I did not trigger her sudden outburst I felt a bit okay.

"Can I go see her, I feel pretty bad. We was best friends once" I asked Dickson

"Yea go ahead son" sighing I made my way upstairs. I missed her, I to want vibe with her once more but I try my best not to bring up the rape incident.

I opened the door after few unanswered knocks. Bella laid beautifully with a frown on her face. I found it cute.
About excusing myself I was stopped by sniffs which soon turn into low screams

"don't touch me please, leave me alone please!" She said fighting her nightmare
I shook her slowly "Bell, Bell please wake up"
She cried on me while I rub her back. "I'm sorry Bell, I couldn't protect you" I said out of awkwardness.
She sniff and shook her head "here you go again y'all act like its y'all fault but it ain't, not even mine" she said in agitation.

She pulled away covering her thigh in a speed "err why are you here?"
Moving away from the bed I said "came to apologize for earlier"

"Oh no, I should apologize rather" she said looking away "just so much going on you know" she added.

I nodded. "let's do lunch tomorrow, I miss you"

"Umm okay" she said
"I would understand it if you don't want to though" I said

"Nah its alright with me Amir" she said saying my middle name. I gave a comfortable  smile.

"Got to go, nice meeting you again Bell see you 12pm at our favorite restaurant" I kissed her forehead.

"likewise" she said

"Hey don't stay in bed much, it boring" I joked before heading out.

That went well than I thought.

Next day..
Lunch
Isabelle
"You look good" Farouk complicated as I approached him. Pulling a seat for me I thanked him for his compliment and kind gesture.

His stares made me uncomfortable. My brain cracked at why he was staring at me, did he invite me to lunch just to stare? Uh oh

To stop the stress I said "you staring to much, I don't look weird do I?"

"Ha, tough as always" he smiled "well, I couldn't master the courage to say I'm on lunch with a beautiful Lady, the gray bodycon dress compliment you, you are divine with or without make up" he added

"Boy that's too much ha, shut up" I rolled my eyes.

"I was trying to make you laugh my bad" he smiled.

"that's alright , can we order already?" I asked impatiently

After lunch we came back to my apartment. Getting comfy was a must now. Farouk sits while I go upstairs to wear something comfortable.

Stripping down I found a big T shirt to wear. I grab few snacks from the kitchen to join Farouk in the living room.

"For a young Lady like you, your Television is too huge." He joked while I sat

"Umm I like big stuff, I believe you know that" I winked

"don't remind me nasty" he shot back

"Well it ain't like that" I rolled my eyes. It took us a good minute to find a movie to watch. Truthfully I missed doing this with him, my family too.

"So Aunt Mismarada make you move back to your apartment this soon?". He inquirie

I hummed in response to low key shut him up. "I got to go Bella. Please take care of yourself, you know I will be here for you whenever you want someone to talk to" he said giving me a quick kiss on my chin.

"Yeah but you are leaving" I said sarcastically. I faked a smile and ushered him out "thanks for lunch by the way"

Locking the door I continued the movie falling asleep soon after.
