"Mads, hun. Can you go get Mike? It's time for his friends to head home." Karen asked with a kind smile, Madeleine nodding and standing up from the kitchen counter. She made her way to the basement door, opening it with a confused expression when she heard them shouting and things thudding from down the stairs.
"Yo, little wheels! Come on!" She called, the boys snapping up to meet her.
"Hey, Mads!" Dustin called with a wide grin, waving up at her. She waved back with a kind smile, "How are you?"
"I'm okay, thank you. Now, come on, boys." She replied, leaning against the wall. They all groaned, Maddie holding her hands up in mock surrender. "Sorry, your moms orders."
Mike ran up the stairs, passing the blonde on the way. She moved down the steps, furrowing her eyebrows as they carried on rushing around. "What're you doing?"
"Will rolled the dice off the table, we really need to know what happens next!" Lucas answered, crawling under the table.
"Okay, well... have fun?" She sighed, about to go back upstairs.
"Can you help us look? Then we'll go home." Will suggested, the three boys staring at her. She turned back around, a large grin playing at her lips.
"Or... I could do this!" She began tickling Wills sides, his body curling over as he laughed. Lucas and Dustin chuckled as his laughter filled the room, the pair still searching for the dice.
Will let out a happy scream as he fell to the floor in a fit of laughter, tears almost spilling from his eyes as he laughed loudly, Maddie chuckling as she carried on tickling him.
"Oh! I found it!" Lucas yelled, Mike laughing lightly at Maddie and Will as he came down. She stood up, Will calming his laughter and wiping the fallen tears as they gathered together.
Maddie rolled her eyes with a smile, "Bye, boys! If you're not upstairs in ten minutes I'll attack you all~!" She mock warned in a fake monster voice, ruffling their hair before jogging back up the stairs.
"Nancy went upstairs!" Karen called from the kitchen, Maddie saluting her before running up the stairs. She threw the door open, Nancy jumping at the loud noise.
"Jesus, Mads!" She shook her head with a laugh, Maddie closing the door and flopping down on the girls bed.
"What? You think I was gonna kill you?" She laughed, nudging her side. They both turned to the door when a knock echoed from the other side, "Come in!"
Dustin opened the door, a pizza box in his hand with a large grin on his face. "There's a slice left if either of you want it. Sausage and pepperoni!"
Nancy stood up, Dustin grinning wildly as she approached him. She closed the door in his face, Maddie throwing her arms out. "Hey! I would've had that!"
"Then, go get it." She shrugged, Maddie clambering up and running out of the room.
"Yo, Dusto!" She called as she jumped down the stairs, landing perfectly on her feet. He spun around, Maddie holding her arms out with grabby hands. He placed the box in her arms, a large grin as she took a large bite of the pizza. "Thanks, kid. See you later."
He nodded happily before rushing outside and hopping on his bike, peddling off down the street.
Maddie rushed back up the stairs, closing Nancys door behind her. She flopped down on the bed again, "You staying here again tonight?"
"Yeah, can't be bothered going home." Maddie groaned, running a hand over her face.
