Madeleine rushed out the second she saw the headlights of Hoppers car shine through the window, letting out a relieved sigh when she saw Eleven.
"Thank god." She ran over, pulling the girl into a quick hug and checking her for injuries. "You okay? Are you hurt?"
"I'm okay, Mads. Promise." She spoke with a small smile, looking up at the blonde. Nancy hugged Mike, although Madeleine wasn't paying attention to what she was saying.
Maddie spun around once they were done, "Hey, wheels. Next time, pick up the speaker! Or I will kick your ass, got it?"
"Yeah, got it." Mike chuckled, moving over and hugging the blonde. "Thanks, Mads."
"For what?"
"Is that my dress?" Nancy asked, cutting Mike off and looking Eleven up and down.
"Never mind that, come on." Maddie instructed, gesturing for everyone to get inside. "Alright, what's been going on with you lot?"

"Okay, so, in this example, we're the acrobat. Will and Barbara, and that monster, they're this flea. And this is the Upside Down, where Will is hiding. Mr Clark said the only way to get there is through a rip of time and space." Will explained, holding up the piece of paper.
"A gate." Dustin chimed.
"That we tracked to Hawkins Lab." Lucas added.
"With out compasses." Dustin said, Maddie looking up at Hopper. "Okay, so the gate has a really strong electromagnetic field-"
"And that changes the direction of the compasses needle." Maddie finished, the group looking at her with shocked eyes. "I may not go to my classes half the time, but when I do, I listen... sometimes."
"Is this gate underground?" Hopper asked, Elevens hand tightening around Maddie's.
"Yes."
"Near a large water tank?" Maddie and Hopper spoke in unison, Eleven nodding.
"Yes."
"How did you know all that?" Dustin asked, Maddie and Hopper sharing a look.
"They've seen it." Mike answered, Eleven looking up at Maddie. She sent her a short smile, rubbing her thumb over the younger girls knuckles.
