Maddie was sat in the hospital beside Joyce, the doctors with Will. They weren't allowed in yet, so they were sat in the waiting room. Hopper had gone to get Jonathan, leaving them alone.
"Thank you so much, Mads." Joyce sniffled, her hand locked in Madeleines. "I don't know what happened back there, but you saved him."
"He's my brother, blood or not. I wasn't going to let anything happen, and I have no idea what happened either." She chuckled tiredly, shaking her head.
"You okay?" Joyce asked, gesturing to the blood stains from her nose and ears.
"Yeah, those dickheads used a fuckin' stun gun on me. I'm fine though." She smiled weakly, jumping when she heard her name being called.
"Madeleine! Mads!" Steve yelled, Maddie shooting up.
"Steve..." She whispered, running over and wrapping her arms around his neck.
"You're okay. Are you okay?" He pulled away, checking her for injuries.
"I'm fine, I'm fine." She cried, Steve letting out a relieved breath and pulling her back in.
"You're okay, you're okay..."

Maddie sat beside Wills bed, his hand in hers. Her head snapped up when she felt him stir, his eyes fluttering open. "Hey..."
He looked to Jonathan and Joyce, "Hi, sweetheart."
"Hey."
"Where... where am I?" He asked softly.
"You're home. You're home now." Jonathan spoke, letting out a sigh. "You're safe."
"Jonathan."
"Yeah, it's me, buddy."
He turned back to Madeleine, "You came for me."
"Of course I did, I would never had left you in there." She whispered, "We missed you, so much."
"Are you okay?" Will asked, looking from Jonathans hand to the blood stains running down Maddie's lip and her cheeks.
"What, this?" Jonathan held up his hand, "It's just a cut. It's nothing."
Will turned back to Madeleine, "I'll tell you later, it's an insane story." She chuckled.
