"Y/n come here " your father demanded as you walked over putting on a fake smile . "This is your fiancé , Draco Malfoy " he smiled at you before motioning to you to move and greet him .
You felt tears pooling in you eyes .
"Hello , pleasure to meet you . " You shook his hand as he just stared at you .
"Can I talk to my fiancé in private please ?" it wasn't a question .
They all left before patting his shoulder . His mother gave me a look telling me she was a good woman . She looked at me as if she'd been through this before too and also felt it at least understood my pain .
As soon as they were out the door and the door was closed I breathed in loudly . A tear falling onto the floor beneath me .
I didn't look up . I hear the wood crackling underneath us , he was walking towards me in slow strikes , I've seen his shoes stand in front of me . Then felt a soft hand gently place itself a onto my cheek. Before placing their finger under my chin gently pushing it up .
Now staring into his eyes . They were piercing through me . His breath stopped for an shallow moment making me regret letting him make me look up . He seemed to notice as he then pushed me into his chest . Carefully he placed his hand on my back rubbing his finger along my spine in an soothing manner making me calm .
"It'll be alright " he mumbled into my ear . "I promise " he grumbled .
My heart made this weird thing that I couldn't quit put a finger on . I don't even know this man this is so always I shouldn't be reacting like this . Like some love struck teen oh my merlin this is embarrassing.
But before I could even form another sentence he pulled away from me . Again looking deep into my eyes before kissing my cheek then walking out of the room . Leaving me alone and filled with thoughts .
"And how was it " my mother whisper yelled as she walked into the room approaching me . I know she probably hadn't had a word in this arrangement. But I was still mad at her . For not being able to be a good enough mother to take care of her only child . For not standing up to my father for me .
She should've been strong enough . I looked away from her as I've seen his mother walk in on us . She smiled sadly before taking my mother with her mumbling something into my mothers ear as "have you heard what the greengrass daughter said ...." She then winked at me as I thankfully smiled at her for taking care of my little problem I've had there .
I sat down on the sofa that stood in the middle of the place .
Back at home I packed my suitcase . I would have to leave today to live with him . An complete stranger .
This is so fucked up .
"Evening , may I enter " I've heard from outside my door after someone knocked .
"Yes . Yes of course " I mumbled before walking out opening the door only to see it was him there as he smiled at me .
"Is it okay if I enter " he asked carefully as I nodded and moved to the side to make place for him to enter .
"Cute " he mumbled picking up an photo on my nightstand of me and my friend in summer dresses making weird faces back in our first year at Beauxbatons .
"Funny " i mumbled looking at him only to hear him laugh laying down on my bed .
"Ew not with shoes on " I said walking over to him pushing his feet of my bed .
"Okay . Sorry sorry ." He laughed .
"You in a silly goofy mood huh" I asked him making sure to leave a snarky noise .
He smiled as I smiled back at him not being able to keep it for me .
"You're cute when you smile " he mumbled as I chuckled .
"What a charmer " I giggled before turning to pack my books .
"Need help with that " he asked . "We'll I wouldn't mind help " he smiled as I turned back to my desk .
After some time of us comfortably saying nothing but packing he brushed my back . I felt him picking something up from above me . He stopped and I felt his breath on my neck .
Then I felt a pair of lips next to my ear .
"This will be an interesting arrangement " he whispered .
Before placing the last book inside my case and winking at me . With that he left my room .
Waking out of my room after him I've seen him on the stair case downstairs talking to his and mine parents .
"Your daughter is perfect " I heard him say . Making me blush . "I didn't like this arrangement before but with her I think I don't even mind . " I heard him whisper and then leaving through the door .
"I knew they were right for one another " one of the elders spoke making me giggle before walking back into my room .
"We'll , let's see what this arrangement comes with ....
