the vanishing of will byers and tristan harrington

Five boys were in their friends basement, Playing dnd. Their names are Dustin Henderson, Tristan Harrington, Lucas Sinclair, Will byers, and mike wheeler. The campaign was intense. for them, anyway.
"Something is coming. Something hungry for blood. A shadow grows on the wall behind you, swallowing you in darkness. It is almost here" Mike said to his friends.
"What is it?" Will asked
"What if it's the Demogorgon?" Tristan asked
"Oh Jesus, were so screwed if it's the Demogorgon" Dustin said
"It's not the Demogorgon." Lucas told His friends who think it's the Demogorgon
"An army of troglodytes charge into the chamber!" Mike announced, slamming the troglodytes onto the table
"Troglodytes?" Dustin asked in relief
"Told ya" Lucas chuckled.
They all chuckled and Dustin snorted.
It went silent
"Wait a minute.... Did you hear that?" Mike asked his friends
"Hear what?" Tristan asked
"That... That sound? Boom... Boom... Boom!" Mike slammed his hands on the table "that didn't come from the troglodytes. No, that... That came from something else." Mike then slammed a Demogorgon piece down on the board
"The Demogorgon!"
All of the kids groaned
"We're in deep shit!" Dustin said
"Will, take your action!" Mike told Will
"I don't know!"
"Fireball him!" Lucas suggested
"I'd have to roll a 13 or higher!"
"To risky" Tristan said
"Cast a protection spell." Dustin told Will.
"Don't be a pussy. Fireball him!" Lucas said
"Cast protection." Dustin said
Mike slammed his hands onto the board "the Demogorgon is tired of your silly human bickering! It stomps towards you. Boom!"
"Fireball him!"
"Another stomp, boom!"
"Cast protection."
"He roars in anger!"
Lucas, Dustin, and Tristan all clamored.
Will had made his decision and yelled, "Fireball!"
The die fell onto the ground. The boys got up to look for it
"mike!" Mikes mother, Mrs wheeler, called
"Mom, were in the middle of a campaign!" Mike told Mrs wheeler
"You mean the end? Fifteen after."
Mike then went up to talk to Mrs wheeler.
"Oh my god! Freaking idiot!" Tristan said
"Why do we have to go?" Will asked his friends

Tristan was glad that his friends were accepting of him being transgender. When he came out to Will, Lucas, and mike in the 1st grade, they were more than accepting. They got his name correct and everything. Dustin met Tristan after he changed his name, so Dustin never messed up. Tristan has always had short hair, and dressed masculine, and liked all of the traditional boy stuff. So his older brother, Steve Harrington, was not surprised when his younger brother had come out as transgender. Steve was the one who changed Tristan's name because he was the one who was legally his father. Their mother had cheated on Steve's father on a business trip to Mexico, so when Tristan was born, Mr and Mrs Harrington were going to give Tristan up for adoption, but Steve didn't allow it. So, Mr and Mrs Harrington put Steve on the Birth certificate. So Steve had been in charge of Tristan since he was very young. It's messed up, everybody knows. But there's nothing they can do about it. And they're obviously not going to Take Tristan away from Steve because Steve has done a pretty good job at taking care of Tristan. They almost did, but Hopper, chief of police, said not to, and comes over once a month to check in with Steve and Tristan, so that he doesn't get taken away.

"Oh! I got it!" Will told his friends "Does the seven count?"
"It was a Seven? Did mike see it?" Lucas asked
Will shook his head.
"Then it doesn't count" Tristan told will, putting on his jacket
Lucas, Will, and Tristan were walking up the stairs when Dustin asked, "yo, hey, guys. Does anyone want this pizza?"
"No" will and Lucas said in unison.
"If Nancy Doesn't want it, or you don't want it, then yeah" Tristan smiled and ran up the stairs

"There's something wrong with your sister" Dustin said to mike
"What are you talking about?" Mike asked
"she's got a stick up her butt" Dustin told Mike, handing Tristan the last slice of sausage and pepperoni pizza.
"Yeah. It's because she's been dating Tristan's douchebag dad, Steve Harrington" Lucas said

Lucas, Dustin, Will, and Mike knew that Steve was biologically Tristan's brother, but chose to call Steve Tristan's dad because, well, Steve was basically a dad to Tristan. Tristan even calls Steve his dad sometimes, and when he was younger he didn't know that they were biologically brothers. Tristan sometimes forgets that Steve's not biologically his dad.

"Yeah, she's turning into a real jerk" Dustin said to Mike
"She's always been a real jerk"
"Nuh-uh, she used to be cool. Like that time she dressed up as an elf for our elder tree campaign" Tristan said
"Four years ago!" Mike shouted
"Just saying"

"Good night, ladies" Lucas said to his friends as he pulled into his house
"Kiss your mom night for me" Tristan joked.
He was now biking in between Dustin and Will.
"Race back to my place?" Dustin asked his friends "Winner gets a comic"
"Any comic?" Tristan asked
"Yeah."
Will then sped up, so Tristan sped up
"Hey! Hey! I didn't say Go! Get back here! I'm gonna kill you!" Dustin yelled at his friends
"I'll take your X-Men 134!" Will told Dustin
"And I'll take The Death of Captain Marvel!" Tristan yelled as they passed Dustin's house

Tristan was biking with Will home because Tristan's house is near Wills. While the two boys were biking home, their bike lights started flickering. Tristan's had turned off
"Weird" he said
Then all of a sudden they saw some man in the middle of the road. Tristan and Wills bikes had crashed, and they fell. When they got up, they say the man coming closer to them. Will grabbed Tristan's arm and the two ran to Wills house.

"Mom? Jonathan? Mom?" Will asked after Tristan had locked the door.
Will and Tristan looked out the window to see the man, if you could even Call it that, coming over to Wills house. The boys quickly ran to the phone, Will tried calling for his mom, or Jonathan, or anyone. He just hoped someone would pick up.
Tristan heard the door unlocking, so he grabbed wills arm and they both ran to the back.

When they had gotten to the backyard, they ran to Wills shed. Will loaded the gun and pointed it at the door. All of a sudden they heard growling behind them.

And that's how Will byers and Tristan Harrington went missing.
