Dustin got home, and found something in his trash. So he put it in his ghost trap.

He walked inside thinking his mother would be asleep
"Dusty!" His mother, Claudia, called. She got up from her chair and walked over to dustin
Shit, he thought. He looked over at his mom
"Dusty, how was it?" She asked
"How- how was what?" Dustin stampered
"How was what? The greatest night of the year, of course."
"Oh. Oh, yeah, it was... It was, uh, tubular." Dustin told his mother.
Claudia looked at her son weirdly. Dustin has never said tubular before
"What's wrong with you?" She asked
"Nothing."
"Did something happen?"
"No. What? No."
"Are you constipated again?"
"No. Mom!"
"Okay, you're acting weird. Is this about that Harrington boy again?"
Claudia knew that Dustin had a crush on Tristan. When Tristan went missing, that's when she found out.
"I am not acting weird! And no, it's not about Tristan!"
Then there was thudding. Dustin laughed nervously. Mews hissed
"Awesome, right? Yeah... Tristan rigged the trap with, uh, a motor to make it look like I caught a ghost. Just like the movie." Dustin lied
Claudia laughed nervously "oh, Dusty"
Then they both laughed
"Funny. Look at that. Look at that. Tristan is so talented." Dustin told his mother before walking into his room.

He lifted the ghost trap to his face
"I told you to keep quiet. All you had to do was stay still for 1 minute. 1 minute" Dustin scowled.
He then took the top off of yertles Terrarium and put him on the floor
"Sorry, yertle. Temporary eviction, buddy."
He then put Yertle on the ground and put Dart in the terrarium.
Dustin then bent down to look at the slug closer
"What are you, little guy?" Dustin asked as he crawled into one of yertles hides "What were you doing in my trash? You hungry?"

Dustin dumped out the candy onto his bed and grabbed a 3 musketeers. He then broke it into bite sized pieces for the slug he found to eat.
When it tried to go and eat the nougat, it screeched. Dustin figured it was from the light
"Too hot?" He asked, then turned the light off. "Sorry about that, little guy."
Dart then ate the food. Dustin chuckled
"You like nougat, too, huh? You're pretty cute, you know that?" Dustin asked it "I'm glad I found you. Tristan's going to love you."

Dustin and Tristan went to the library to get books on reptiles to find out what dart was. When they got to the library, Tristan gave Dustin a book on Eastern Reptiles / Amphibians.

Dustin placed the books onto the librarians desk. She just looked at the children
"Mr Henderson, you know the rules. Five at a time."
"Yep. One, two, three, four, and five." Dustin counted
"Ten" the librarian said, holding up a piece of paper "you already have five books checked out."
"Oh, did I say me? I meant these are Tristans."
Tristan nodded in agreement
"It would also be ten for him
"Our mistake" Dustin said "however... We are in a curiosity voyage, and we need our paddles to travel. These books... These books are our paddles."
"Five at a time"
"Are you shitting me?" Tristan asked
"Excuse me?"
Tristan then looked at the clock, and pretended to see something. He pointed at the clock "what the hell is..."
When the librarian looked away, Tristan quickly grabbed the books, and Dustin and Tristan ran away.
"Mr Henderson! Mr Harrington!"
"We need our paddles!" Tristan yelled before running out of the library.

Tristan and Dustin ran through the door. Everybody stared at them
"We are so sorry, Mr Clarke. Really, we're so sorry. Please continue with the class" Dustin apologized as him and Tristan sat down at their desks
"really, were  so sorry. Please continue with the class. Don't mind us" Tristan told their teacher, putting his bag under his desk. Tristan's Desk was right beside Dustin's, near the window. So usually if Tristan was bored, which he usually wasn't, he would stare out the window.
