The flayed

Everybody was freaking out. Tristan was freaking out the most. He couldn't believe how stupid he was to get into some weird russian elevator.
"Why arent these buttons working?!" Dustin asked, frantically pressing the buttons.
Tristan stormed up to Dustin and shouted "press the button!"
"What do you think im doing?!" Dustin shouted back
"Come on, press something! Just press something instead of arguing like old married couples do!" Steve shouted at his younger brother and Dustin.

Tristan hit the buttons then all of a sudden the elevator stopped.
It stopped so suddenly that everybody in the elevator fell. Tristan fell ontop of Dustin.
They stared at each other until steve shouted "Tristan! Get this off of me!"
Tristan stood up and took the box of steve.
"Is everyone okay?" Robin asked
"Yeah, im great, now that i know that russians cant design elevators!" Steve yelled, pushing Dustin and Tristan out of the way and started pressing the buttons again
"I think we've clearly established that those buttons dont work" Tristan said to his older brother
"Theyre buttons" steve replied "they have to do something."
"Yeah, if we had a keycard" robin told steve
"A what?" Steve asked
"Its an electronic lock" robin said simply "same as the loading dock door. If we dont have a keycard, it wont operate, meaning— "
"Were stuck in here" Dustin interrupted
"Yeah"

"Just so you nerds are aware," erica began "im supposed to be spending the night at Tinas, and tina always covers for me. But if im not home for uncle jacks party tomorrow and my mom finds out you four are responsible, shes gonna hunt you down, one by one, and slit your throat"
"I dont care about tina!" Tristan snapped. He was on his final straw "or uncle jacks party! Your moms not gonna be able to find us ig eere dead in a russian elevator!"
"Hey" Dustin said, looking up at the ceiling "what if we climbed out?"

It had turned out that they couldn't climb out. So the next day, Tristan and Dustin were using dustins walkie talkie to try and communicate with anyone in the mall (if there was anybody).
"Hey." Dustin and Tristan heard. "Gotta take it easy on that thing. Gonna drain the battery" steve told Dustin.
"The mall just opened." Tristan informed his older brother
"So?"
"So someone could be in range" Dustin said like it was common sense.
"What do you think, petey the Mall Cop is gonna rappel down here and save the day?" Steve asked his brother and his brothers boyfriend.
"Alright, why are you such a cranky pants?" Tristan asked steve
"Yeah, i mean you did get to spend the night with Robin, so you technically dont have a reason to be a cranky pants" Dustin said in agreement with Tristan.
"Shh!" Steve hissed "jesus christ. Will you just give up on your creepy dream already?"

"I heard you guys talking all night" Dustin poked.
"Yeah, we were trying to figure out a way to open up the door" steve said "while you and Tristan were sucking faces" he joked
"We were not!" Dustin denied.
"Yeah, you were, Henderson. And by the way... tristans going to be crankier than you guys think i am. So watch out" steve told Dustin as he unzipped his pants in the corner
"What are you doing?!" Dustin asked

"What does it loom like he's doing?" Tristan questioned "he's taking a leak"
"Yeah, so look away. Look away!"
Dustin and Tristan turned around. Then they heard robin yell "can you redirect your stream, please?" From below them.

"We've got company" robin told the 2 Harrington children and the Henderson boy.

The elevator opened and some russians started talking and taking the boxes. When they left, steve jumped down and placed the glass test tube with the green liquid under it. Everybody crawled under. Once everybody was out,there was sizzling.
The green liquid melted the floor
"You still wanna drink that?" Robin asked the sinclair sister.
Tristan turned around to see a massively long hallway "holy mother of god" he groaned
"Well..." steve began "hope you guys are in good shape" he patted dustins chest and said "lookin at you, roadt beef"
"Why me?"

It had been hours that Steve Harrington, Tristan Harrington, Dustin Henderson, Robin Buckley , and Erica Sinclair had been walking down that long hallway.
Now, all of the teens + child were hiding from the russian soldiers and scientists.
"Red dawn" Dustin said
"I saw it" erica whispered "first floor, northwest"
"Saw what?" Steve asked
"The comms room!" She whisper yelled
"You saw the comms room?" Tristan questioned
"Correct."
"Are you sure?" Dustin asked
"Positive" erica answered "the door was open for a second and i saw a bunch of lights and machines and shit in there."
"That could be a hundred different things" Tristan told the younger girl
"Ill take those odds" robin said
Steve sighed. "Alright. Were gonna move fast, were gonna stay low, okay?"
Then everybody followed steve.

Once they all got to where steve was planning, there was some russian guy. Him and robin started speaking in russian. He went to grab his gun but steve started yelling, catching the russian off guard, and they both started fighting. Steve won, which surprised Tristan since the older Harrington boy has never won a fight before
"Dude!" Tristan yelled "you did it! You won a fight!" Tristan started clapping.

Dustin ran up to the russian guy and grabbed his key card. Erica and Dustin started fighting, but Tristan and Robin went upstairs. They saw the gate. Trustan was frozen in fear. The russians were opening the gate again.
Dustin saw this and grabbed the boys hand. He squeezed tristans hand.
Tristan had noticed that ever since him and will went missing, Dustin had become over protective of Tristan.

The truth is, Dustin was terrified when Tristan Harrington went missing in 1983.  He was going to find Tristan even if it was the last thing he did. He was the first one to think something was wrong with Tristan because he knew that the younger Harrington boy never went into class early. He wasn't like his cousin. He always biked with his friends no matter if he thought that the teachers were going to give him a surpise quiz.
When they saw will and Tristans "bodies" being pulled out of the water, he was heartbroken. The second he got inside the house and the door closed, he broke down. He was at his lowest. He didn't understand why he was crying so much, hes never crued that much in his life. Thats when his mother, Claudia Henderson, had found out about her sons feelings towards the Harrington boy. Claudia knew that something was going on between the 2 boys, but never really figured out what it was until that night.
Then in 1984, when Tristan got flayed. Dustin had that feeling of terror for Tristan again. He didn't want the boy to be flayed. And if he knew that dart was a baby demogorgon, he would've never brought him in the house. No, instead he would've killed it. But he just wanted to impress tristan with the new species he found.
Now, in 1985, the Russians were trying to open the gate to the upside down back up. He was terrified yet again. Terrified that maybe the demogorgon would get Tristan Harrington and William Byers again.
