❝ NEXT DAY, NOTHING ON MY PHONE. BUT I CAN STILL SMELL YOU ON MY CLOTHES ! ❞

THAT BRUNET NEVER left my mind ever since I met him. And me being the reckless child that I was, I chose to slowly build a friendship with him — if you could call dragging him somewhere or just escorting him to his school as friendship. I really just didn't have the right words nor enough courage to ask him to be actually be my friend instead of running around with him in tow like a loyal puppy.
This day marks the second week the two of us have met, he hasn't really spoken much except for when I ask him simple questions. He would usually let his eyes wander everywhere out of curiosity or caution. I can't even deny it, I thought it was cute and so naive of him. If only I wasn't the one who took that innocence away.
Most of my classmates moved past me as they fixed booths and small stations for visitors to play or stay in, I was just there, sitting beside my only friend in the whole school as she started to blow air into the balloons she was holding. Even as I watched her do this, my thoughts would always be consumed of him.
Yeonwoo Ji, that was his name. I only got it out of some kid who was in the same school as he is. I didn't threaten him or anything, just asked nicely, but you know how people who've heard rumours of you act, they clam up and their hands become sweaty for no reason. He was a stuttering mess when he answered me. It was pathetic but I really didn't care, that kid could cry to his parents about me talking to him all he wants, I know I didn't touch him.
My friend was still busy pumping gas into the balloons when an idea had popped in my mind. I told her to reserve two peach shaped balloons for me and she did, she didn't complain since this was technically her returning the favour when I saved her cat from falling off a tree once. I risked my elbow for that.
Another booth had caught my eye and another idea came to me, I didn't hesitate on crossing the field and stopping in front of the student in charge of the booth, they were a known germaphobe and they hated people touching them or people talking to them at such a close angle, so I distanced myself and told them what I wanted. It was a simple gift for Yeonwoo once I bring him here, I want it to be a special surprise and for him to only open it when the time comes.
After helping — I was actually just standing behind the other students and they began working thrice the speed — and preparing the other booths up for the small event in my school, it was already time for Yeonwoo to come out of his own. He had cram school but that wasn't stopping me from taking him here and letting him experience all of these, especially since I even prepared some special things for him.
