Snow was fluttering down in the Downing Street like magical confetti that evening. Trees heavy with snow on it's tips. Pure. Sparkling.
It's beauty was unmatchable...Yazeed and i had just left the coffee shop. Am not a coffee person. I dont like it. But when he handed me my cup and looked into my eyes, I couldn't say no.
We talked about random stuffs, our assignments and all. He told me how awful that semester was for him...
Half of the students in our class weren't pleased for some reason. I mean you know how students are, they'll always come up with something. He giggled and pulled me close,
“C’mon, don't tell me this is your best semester and am just exaggerating?"A slow smile worked its way across my face and into his eyes
"No,you're not" I said
A light drizzle began to fall then he pulled out an umbrella from his bag.
He let out a hearty laugh. His laughter was infectious“come closer” he said
After walking few more minutes we decided to pull down to sit on a bench at a park. He beamed down at me, and I could only gaze back adoringly.
“So Naylah …” He began.
From his tone I knew he was about to talk about something that I wasn't ready to discuss.
“Do you like me?” he whispered,
I looked away...i didn't want to answer but deep inside I wanted to shout out his name countless times because he was the only one I can think about.
He looked at me with a sweet smile asking the obvious
"Are you ready to hear the name of the one that I love?"
“okay ” I said uncertainly
Finding his voice, barely above a whisper
"You!"
He continued "I didn’t want to tell you like this, but I have no choice,I love you Naylah"
I dropped my coffee!
