Chapter 3: Train Station Part 2 & New People

Y/N POV

We found this train station in hopes of finding food and we just unlocked a door to the backroom in hopes of food being there.

Clem: They had a good thing going here.

AJ/Scarlett: Can we stay here?

Carley: We'll see babies.

AJ: No one's here. No one's ever anywhere. It's always just monsters.

Clem: We're here, kiddo.

AJ: I know.

Y/N: You saying we're not someone?

AJ: That's not what I mean.

AJ finds some bullets and gives some to Mom and they reload their gun.

AJ: Just a few.

Carley: Remember what we said... You know this.

Clem: Always aim for the head.

AJ: Always aim for the head.

Clem: That's right. Come on. Let's keep looking. There's gotta be something we can eat.

AJ: Hope so.

Scarlett: There will be AJ.

She grabs his hand.

Y/N: You good?

AJ: Uh-huh. Just hungry.

Clem: Grumbly in your tumbly?

AJ: No. Just regular hungry.

Scarlett: Me too Papi.

Y/N: We'll find something.

We see a crib.

AJ: We didn't see a kid.

Clem: No. No, we didn't. Might be why they...gave up.

I grab Clem's hand.

Y/N: you know Scar I remember when you were in one of these.

Scarlett: But now I'm bigger!

Y/N: Soon you're gonna be bigger than auntie.

Clem playfully pushes me.

Clem inspects a can under the window.

Clem: Spoiled. Sorry, kiddos. These are long gone.

AJ: Fuck.

Y/N: My man.

I hold out my fist and he fist bumps it.

Clem: Hey, watch the swears.

AJ: You said shitbird before!

Clem Do as I say, not as I do.

Y/N: Come on let him swear. It's the apocalypse! Who gives a fuck?

Clem: Y/N!

Y/N: You're no fun.

Clem: When he's older maybe.

Clem tosses the can away. It rolls toward the mattress, revealing the corner of a hatch.

AJ: Look.

Clem/Carley: Huh?

Clem decides to move the mattress.

Clem: Something under here...

I move the mattress, revealing a hatch in the floor.

AJ: Floor door?

Clem: Yeah. Must have wanted to hide something.

Scarlet: Food?

Carley: Maybe baby.
