Chapter 21: The Kind Of Love We Make

CARLEY POV

Me and Clem searched the greenhouse for barbed wire and found some, and a way to make bombs. Clem was being a bitch so I knocked her out.

I walk back to our rooms with Clem still over my shoulder. I just left my room after having some fun with her body.

Carley: I still can't believe you said that Clem.

I reach my room and see Y/N and the kids asleep with Scarlett snuggling Y/N.

Carley: They are so cute.

I walk up to Y/N and shake him and he wakes up.

Y/N: Mom? Clem?

Carley: Hi honey. How are you feeling?

Y/N: Better.

He squints his eyes and sees ne carrying Clem.

Y/N: What happened to her!?

Carley: Shhh she's fine.

Y/N: Why are you carrying her?

Carley: While we were in the greenhouse she said some unexpectedly Rude things to Ruby and I couldn't stand for it so I put her in a sleeper hold and knocked her out.

Y/N: Was that necessary?

Carley: No but I didn't want to keep hearing her mouth off.

Y/N: What did she say?

Carley: Ruby saw the school nurse and she was upset cause they were close. Anyways her body was in some sort of garden and there were plants growing out of her and rather then say something sympathetic to Ruby she says something along the lines of "she's not who she remembers and she's just part of the plants now"

Y/N: That's so unlike her to say.

Carley: I know. At first I thought she was on her period but that couldn't be cause she told me she had hers two weeks ago so I assume she said it cause she is tired and stressed.

Y/N: This situation doesn't help with us trying to redeem ourselves into staying.

Carley: I know. How was Scarlett?

Y/N: She's been good. All we did was sleep.

He plays with her hair and that causes her to wake her up.

Scarlett: Papi?

Y/N: Yeah honey?

Scarlett: Why did you wake me? I was very comfy.

Y/N: Look who's here.

Scarlett Looks at me.

Scarlett: Mommy! Auntie!

She gets up to hugs us.

Carley: Wait honey let me lay down auntie before you hug me.

I gently lay her down next to Y/N who cuddles her.

Scarlett: What happened to Auntie?

Carley: She's just... sleepy honey.

Scarlett: Oh.

Scarlett then hugs me.

Scarlett: I missed you.

Carley: I missed you too baby. Did you enjoy your time with Papi?

Scarlett: Yeah.

I walk up to AJ and put my hand on his forehead.

Y/N: He hasn't woken up since.

I kiss his forehead which wakes him.

AJ: Hi Carley.

Carley: Hi honey.
