Forest
After interrogating Abel in a ruthless manner. Me, Clem, Violet, Carley and Scarlett walk through the forest Clem looks at the map, then puts it away.
Clem: Once we find the boat, we'll look for a way to sneak on board.
Y/N: Pretty simple.
AJ: It wasn't Tenn's fault.
Willy: Yes, it was! Mitch died because he--
AJ: Say one more thing about Tenn. I dare you.
Y/N: Quit that shit.
AJ and Willy both shut up.
Violet: Guys, look.
We sneak toward a boat in the distance. AJ looks at it through his binoculars.
Clem: You see anything?
AJ: The beach, um, a boat, and, uh... a wood street in the water.
Y/N: That's called a pier bud.
AJ: Pier.
Clem: Okay, let's spread out and focus on those areas. Keep your heads low.
We split up. Mom goes to Violet and Scarlett goes to AJ.
I pick up a horseshoe and Clem looks at me funny.
Clem: Why?
Y/N: Why not?
Clem: Dork.
I whisper into her ear.
Y/N: Don't be so mean... Mama Clem.
Clem blushes and I smile.
We then look at the boat.
Clem: I've never seen a boat this big before.
Y/N: I have.
Clem: When?
Y/N: A year before the world went to shit my family went to Hawaii to visit pearl harbor and I went aboard the U.S.S Missouri.
Clem: What's that?
Y/N: It's a WW2 battleship that's really fucking big.
Clem: Cool.
We talk to Violet and mom.
Clem: You ever seen this boat before?
Violet: No. Marlon kept us confined to the safe zone. Pier leading up to the boat? It's our only way in and out.
Y/N: Well, let's see what else is down there.
I look through the binoculars. I look at the raiders.
Y/N: There are a few on deck. A couple others on the pier. Could be more inside.
Violet: Looks like they're well-armed, too.
Y/N: Wait! I see Louis!
Carley: Abel wasn't lying. This is it.
I examine the entrance.
Y/N: I can see an entrance...
Violet: I saw that, too. It looks like there's a door at the other end.
Y/N: There's a small opening at the top of those closed doorways. AJ and us know how to deal with those.
I inspect the pilot house.
Y/N: They're probably keeping them bellow deck.
I examine the pier.
Y/N: The pier has plenty of cover on it. If we're careful, we can sneak in undetected.
