"L-Lucy, where are you going?" I asked the blonde-haired wizard who was walking towards Hisui, acting like she was possessed. "We need to close the gate!" she yelled, as I looked at her in shock. As the gate opened, I saw a large body come out of the gate, and I looked at it in shock. "What is this?" I said, as a dragon came out of the gate, and roared, leaving and another following. I could feel its wings in front of me, as I was remembered of the phantom. I felt sweat drip from my face, and I felt scared...
"Watch out!" I yelled, as the dragon that had come out of the eclipse gate stepped on the guards. "Princess, you need to be safe," Arcadios said, protecting the princess. Another dragon exited the gate, and I felt shocked. "Can we close the gate somehow?" I yelled, feeling the wings of the dragons create large currents of wind, forcing myself to fall backwards.
"Yes, there, is, the lever!" the princess said, still shocked. Lucy walked towards the lever and tried her hardest to pull, but failed. "She doesn't have enough power!" Arcadious yelled, as I pushed Yukino over to the lever. "You're the only one who can help!" I shouted at her, as she struggled to walk over to the gate. "Let's do this together," she smiled at Lucy.
"Open 12 gates of the Zodiac!" the both said in sync, as I felt a huge amount of magic power exert into the gate. "Wow," I said, seeing all the celestial spirits try their hardest to shut the gate. The dragon inside the gate roared, trying to get out, but the gate closed on it with the great power of the celestial wizards.
"Well, you two closed the gate," I heard a familiar voice say with sarcasm as I looked at the male in disgust and anger. "Rogue," I said in anger, Future Rogue standing on one of the dragons feeling proud. "Oh well, it doesn't really matter, 10,000 dragons would've been far difficult to control," he said. "Seven is much better," he smiled evily, as I saw the princess look at him in shock.
"10,000 dragons were coming out of the gate," she said in shock, holding her hand to her mouth. Arcadios held the princess close and I looked at him livid. "How dare you!" I yelled, jumping up into the air making an ice tower underneath my feet to reach Future Rogue. "Ice dragon's wing attack!" I yelled, attacking future Rogue, but he easily dispelled it.
"You can't defeat me Alyssa," he smiled, but it was one of sarcasm, as he held my by the shirt. "You will never be able to beat me," he laughed, as he threw me of the dragon. "Alyssa!" I heard a familiar voice, as I couldn't help but cry.
"I guess this is how it ends," I thought, the ground getting near me. "I'm not letting you die that easily!" I heard a voice, as I saw Lexi, struggling to carry me safely to the ground. "Lexi!" I said, as she landed on the floor roughly. "What are you doing?" I asked her, tears threatening to pour out.
"We're friends, aren't we!" she shouted, tears pouring out of her eyes. "Don't die on me," she cried, as I looked at her with sadness. "I won't ever leave you alone," I smiled slightly, hugging her close. "You'd better not," she smiled, as she closed her eyes.
"No," I said, looking at her, as she closed her eyes in exhaustion. "I wish I could heal you," I smiled sadly, knowing very clearly that I could only heal physically wounds. Carrying her in my arms, I walked slowly back to the battle, in which I had to defeat future Rogue to secure the future of the kingdom.
"Future Rogue and seven dragons."
...
I looked at the battle, there were seven dragons that had appeared and they all scared me. They reminded me of the phantom in a way, large and unreasonable. As I held Lexi in my arms, I couldn't help feeling scared after remembering Future Rogue's immense power and that I was paralysed due to my own stupid fear.
"Are you ok Lyss?" Lexi asked me, and I realised that I was crying. She was standing on the floor next to me as I fell down to the floor. I couldn't stop the tears in my eyes, as I realised that seeing the death of the future me was a lot more tough on me than I acted.
"I...guess I wanted to y...ou know, im...press Yukino by acting tough, but seeing future me die because I wasn't strong enough... and seeing rogue so evil is..." I cried to her as she sat on my lap and hugged me.
"I know how you feel. But now we have to keep our head up and protect both ours and Rogue's future. To do that, we need you Alyssa because Rogue is your best friend," she encouraged me, as I remembered the kiss and confession, but put that aside. I wiped the tears on my eyes, and got up. "It's time to go slay some dragons," I said, determined to make things right and settle the score with Future rogue forever.
"I will protect Rogue's future."
