Alyssa POV
It was time to battle. I put my thoughts aside about future Rogue and focused on how I was going to defeat him. The kiss still lingered across my mind, but I tried to ignore it.

Lexi was out for the count, so there would be no one to save me if I fall. "There's seven dragons and seven dragon slayers!" I heard someone yell from the sky as I looked up to see that Natsu was fighting against Future Rogue. "Your job is to defeat dragons so do it! Let's slay some dragons! Each dragon slayer take a dragon, and every one else, look after the others!" He yelled, as I smirked.

"Thank you Natsu," I smiled, realising that I wasn't alone and everyone was fighting for our safety. "Let's go!" I yelled, running to find a dragon, as I held the tired Lexi in my arms. I ran towards the city as I saw Ultear slip through a corner. "Sis!" I said, running after her, as I heard her crying. "Why are you crying?" I asked her, as she smiled with a tear falling out of her face.

"You have to be strong for me," she hugged me, as she walked into the empty city and leaned on her knees. "I have been living a cursed life," she told me, as I looked at her sadly. "I just hope you'll forgive me for ruining our life," she said, as I felt tears fall out of my eyes, remembering the a couple nights before.

"There is a spell that can turn back time, I can fix everything," UItear cried, as I looked over at her. "That would be amazing. Why are you crying? Let's do it now! We can get mum back again!" I squealed happily, thinking of reuniting with our mum again.

Ultear kept crying, then I realised something was wrong. "What's wrong?" I asked her, as she wiped her tears. "In doing so, it will take my life..."

"Then you're not doing it!" I said, tears prickling my eyes. "I've just gotten reunited with you. I'm not losing you again. You are my only family now, and I don't mind that!" I started crying openly as she hugged me. "You won't even notice I'm gone... I don't deserve a sister like you. I've killed so many people and have manipulated everyone I've cared about including Jellal," she cried.

"Don't talk like that!" I shouted at her. "You have to keep living, for me and Meredy. You can't just die!" I cried hugging her face into my chest. "You have grown into such a nice woman..." Ultear said, wiping her tears, and smiling.

"Please don't do this Ultear," I cried, as she looked at me sadly. "I have been living a cursed life, one where I've hurt people and laughed at them. I don't deserve this life," she said, as the area around her started to glow. "Please, I can't lose you too!" I cried, screaming. "Time of Arc!" Lost Ages!" she yelled, as the sky and the floor glowed brightly. I couldn't help the tears fall from my eyes, as I heard Ultear's screams...

"I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough," I cried, as I saw that the time had gone back one minute. From sadness came anger. "Ultear sacrificed her life for one minute, this wasn't enough!" I thought, tears staining my face. I saw her smile sadly as she disappeared into fragments. "Ultear no!" I cried, running over to her, and the only thing that was left from her was her orb. I carried it and cried into it.

"Please don't cry, I've finally attained salvation," I heard her voice, as I wiped my tears. "Ultear, please come back," I shouted. "I won't be able too, but all I want you to do is wipe out Zeref and any guilds associated with him so no one will be possessed by the darkness like we were," she said, as she disappeared once and for all. "Ultear no!" I cried, wanting her to comfort me and tell me everything was going to be fine.

I looked around and saw the city of Crocus completely empty. Remembering my promise to future me, I ran, wiping my tears away. "I will protect Rogue," I thought, running off holding Ultear's time orb as it was the only remembrance I had of her.

"After protecting Rogue, I will find a way to kill Zeref, so then he can't hurt anyone else," I thought running.

...

I kept on running, until I saw a dragon coming my way. "Ice dragon slayer roar!" I yelled at it, as the roar hit him, but he laughed. "Another measly human" he laughed, and I saw another dragon just behind him following Sting. "Alyssa?" He looked at me confused, and I wondered if I was still crying.

"I thought you left..." Rogue hugged me, and I was shocked as I didn't see him. "Get away from me!" I squealed, blushing crazily, remembering the kiss that future Rogue gave me. "Are you ok?' they both asked me, as I took a deep breath. "There's no time to explain. If you've noticed, there's two dragons in front of us, threatening to destroy this city and we need to defeat them," I rambled, as Sting and Rogue looked at me cockily.

"Wanna see who destroys them first?" Sting smirked, as I laughed. "Let's do this!" I smiled, ready to fight with the Twin dragons of Sabertooth.  "Holy dragon... Shadow Dragon... Ice Dragon.. Roar!" We yelled in unison as the multiple roars hit the two dragons and created fog.

"Ice Dragon's diamond fist!" I yelled, punching the dragons. "Holy Nova!" Sting yelled, a second after me, as I saw Rogue smile from the corner of my eye. "Shadow's dragon slash!" He yelled, as I landed on the floor wobbly. "Did we do it?" I panted, exhausted after the array of spells and when the dragons didn't have a single scratch on them, I couldn't help but tear up at the sight.

"We didn't even feel a thing," the dragons said, as I fell down to the floor. "Alyssa, are you ok?" Rogue came to my side immediately. "Yeah I'm fine, just a little tired," I said, wiping my tears. "I'm sorry that you have to see me like this," I said, my eyes turning red.

"I'm not strong," I told him as Sting fought the dragons all by himself struggling. "I've always thought I was strong, but I am weak. I can't do anything right and all I do is mess things up," I cried and Rogue hugged me. "Crying doesn't mean you're weak. It means you're tired. Fairy Tail has taught me that friendship is so important and I don't want to lose a friend like you," he whispered in my ear as I hugged him back.

"Guys, a little help here?" I heard Sting, as he was bleeding badly from an attack from the dragons. "Ice dragon Healing Hand," I whispered, as the blood from his body disappeared slowly as Rogue started fighting the dragon alone. "Thank you," he said, as I took a deep breath.

"Let's do this."
