I stood right next to Sting and Rogue and saw the two dragons who were towering over us. "This seems impossible," I thought looking at my best friends from a very young age. Ultear's time orb had been stored safely as I didn't want to lose it... Seeing the two dragons in front of me, I thought of Rizon, the ice dragon and thought that she would think of me as pathetic... If she saw me crying like this.

Memories flooded my head, and before I knew it, I was hit to the ground by the dragon. "Alyssa!" I heard Sting and Rogue yell, but I was gone.

"Alyssa, you stupid girl. Don't you know how to put on your shoes," Rizon said, as a young Alyssa walked around the snow in a cotton dress with no shoes on. "But it's not cold Rizon," she smiled, laughing as Rizon started laughing as well. "Oh, what am I going to do with you, you stupid girl," she smiled, feeling warmth.

...

"Now, to destroy the phantom, what do you need to do?" Rizon asked me, as I smiled determinedly. "I need to get stronger and destroy the mountain tops," I smiled, as Rizon laughed. "You learn from the best, don't you," she laughed as I gave a huge smile.

...

"To be a good ice dragon slayer, you need to be completely immune to the cold," Rizon said. "So, now you strip," she smirked, as I took off my clothes and stood there bare naked. "It's cold..." I shivered, as Rizon warmed me up with her wings. "Feel better?" she asked me smiling, as I smiled back at her, putting my clothes back on.

...

"Ultear! I screamed happily, hugging her. She pushed me away  and looked at me angrily. "Why did you let me die?" she said angrily, as I fell onto the floor. "W-what?" I stuttered, shocked on how she could say that. "Because of you, this is what I look like," she said, transforming into this ugly goo, as she jumped all over me yelling that it was all my fault.

...

"Rizon, Rizon, please come back!" I cried, holding her close, as she flew away and disappeared into the sky. "I'm living a cursed life," I heard Ultear's words repeat in my head, as I saw the phantom killing my father. "No, I don't want to be alone!" I cried, as I appeared into a dark hallway where Future Rogue kissed me. I looked above me and I saw Wendy, blue light emiting from her fingers.  "She's not waking up!" Wendy yelled in front of me. "Please wake up!" I heard Rogue as I looked at my heart and it was ice cold. My body was turning silver and I could feel that my heart was about to stop beating.

"Am I dying?" I thought, feeling large wings behind my back. "Yes, you are, it is your fate to die a pathetic fool," the ice dragon laughed menacingly as I saw a dragon throw me into a wall and Rogue asking me if I was ok. "You will never be able to fulfill Ultear's wish and defeat the phantom. You are too weak!" Rizon laughed, as I looked down shamefully. "Please defeat all the dark guilds so that no one else will be posessed by the darkness like we were," she said, as I felt a tear run down my eye.

"I'm sorry sis, I failed you," I said, as I fell into an abyss and got ready to see my death. As I fell, Rogue grabbed me by the hand and lifted me up onto my feet. "I know that it's difficult, but you will overcome this," he said shyly, as I smiled for the first time. "Thank you Rogue," I smiled brightly, as I felt this dream fade away.

"Alyssa-San you're awake!" I heard a voice yell, as Wendy hugged me. "Thank you Rogue," I smiled at the black haired wizard who was always encouraging me, even in my dreams. "I promise I will protect your future," I whispered in his ear and got up. "Help Sting, I'm going to help Natsu," I told everyone. Laxus, the lightning dragon slayer was fighting the jade dragon and I felt obliged to help him out. I thought of Lexi and knew that I was going to come out of this fine. For her's and Rogue's sake. "Natsu!" I yelled, climbing up to the dragon with spikes following under my feet.

"Ice dragon's roar!" I yelled, as Rogue laughed. "I didn't think you'll be back," he laughed menacingly but I remembered present Rogue's kind heart and didn't feel anything. "You better believe it and I know how to beat you," I laughed, Rogue hitting me in the stomach with a shadow. "You really think you can beat me," he laughed as I saw a fire dragon and Rogue's dragon butting heads. "Yes of course, now this is a battle to the death. Hit me with all you got!" I yelled, as Future Rogue laughed. "You asked for it."

"Shadow's Dragon Slash!" He yelled, a shadow in the shape of a knife came to me. "If Natsu and Gajeel can do it, then I can try this just one time," I said, grabbing the shadow before it came and cut me and stuffing it down my throat. "What are you doing?" Future Rogue looked at me shocked and I smiled. "I'm going to regret this so much," I smiled, feeling my ice get overwhelmed by the shadow and I felt faint.

"Alyssa!" I heard Natsu yell, as I fell to the floor. "Did you really think you could eat my shadow and get more power?" he laughed, as I felt him touch my cheek. "You're too weak for that," he said, as I laughed. "Too weak?" I asked him, slowly getting up, feeling my ice overpower the shadows. "My friends have taught me that I'm not weak, and having friends to empower me will give me the power to defeat you!" I said, holding ice in one hand and the other shadows.

"Cool," I heard Natsu say behind me as he laughed. "I can't let you outdo me," he said, as I looked behind me to see that he was using lightning and fire together. "We won't lose to you!" I shouted, creating a wall of ice around Rogue, and letting the shadows to engulf Rogue. "This is quite annoying," he said. "But still not temperamental to my plans," he said, using Sting's holy magic to dispel of the shadows and paralyse me. "What is this?" I said. "Just a fancy spell," he laughed.

"I'm still here!" Natsu yelled, burning Rogue to a crisp. As the spell got off, I punched Future Rogue in the gut. "This will end it all!" I yelled, feeling the shadows and my ice converge into one. "Ice Dragon's Slayer Secret Art! Second Origin Released! Ice Dragon's Karma Shadow Arrows!" I yelled, as thousands of arrows made out of shadows and ice attacked Future Rogue and it was finally over.

I heard Natsu scream and saw the dragon burning up intensely. "What is this heat?" I thought, feeling dizzy as I felt myself fall off the dragon, and my magic power depleted almost immediately. "I'm glad you're safe," I heard a familiar voice say, as I saw Lexi, exhausted, but helping me land safely. "Same," I smiled, hugging her once we landed safely on the ground. I held her hand and we ran to the eclipse gate where Future Rogue and the other dragons had disappeared. "We did it!" I smiled, momentarily forgetting the great sacrifice Ultear made and then left the city of flowers forever. I would miss Sting and Rogue, but they would be happier without me.

"I'm sorry, but I need to fulfill my sister's wish," I thought, carrying Lexi away, and telling her everything.

It's time to embark on another journey.
