🔞 Chapter 36: You Saved Me

Yoongi feels his world slow down as he runs towards Jimin. "JIMIN!!!" Yoongi shouts out when he sees a man lifting one of the black daggers, aiming straight for Jimin's heart as Jimin lies there helpless and unable to move.

A gasp leaves Jimin's lips as he is suddenly staring into Yoongi's soft eyes. Jimin watches in horror as Yoongi's eyes fill with pain and blood spills out of his mouth.

"NO! YOONGI!" Jimin screams and fights the hold on his soul. He quickly reaches up and pulls Yoongi into his arms then rolls over, softly placing Yoongi beneath him.

The man stares at Jimin in horror as Jimin stands up and looks at him with eyes filled with anger and death. Before the man can utter a single sound, a dagger is stabbed between the man's eyes and twisted deeper.

Yoongi's gasps of pain pulls Jimin out of his angered trance. "Yoons." Jimin cries and lifts Yoongi into his arms. He watches in horror as Yoongi's soul leaves his body towards the dagger.

Jimin quickly snatches the dagger in his hand and snaps the blade in half. Yoongi gasps in pain at Jimin's action, but his soul reenters his body. 

"Look at me, Yoons." Jimin begs and pats Yoongi's face.

"I-I'm ok, Love." Yoongi pants in pain and smiles up at his crying lover.

"Wh-Why aren't you healing?" Jimin cries and looks at the wound with black veins, showing poison coursing through Yoongi's body.

Hoseok runs as fast as he can to his brother with Yoonseo by his side. The moment he reaches Jimin and Yoongi, he pulls Jimin away from Yoongi and examines the wound. Hoseok instantly places his hands around the wound and closes his eyes.

"No, c-concentr-trate o-on b-blo-ocking your m-mind." Yoongi pants out and tries to stop Hoseok from healing him.

"Yoonseo will protect me. I will heal you because I never want my Jimin or my Yoonseo to be sad. Losing you would break the two people I love the most." Hoseok smiles down at Yoongi and gently runs his fingers through Yoongi's hair to calm him down.

The moment that Hoseok heals Yoongi's wound, Hoseok collapses under the Admiral's hold. Yoonseo quickly catches Hoseok while Jimin hugs Yoongi.

"You're ok. You're ok." Jimin whispers as tears trickle down his face.

"I'm ok." Yoongi smiles and kisses Jimin.

Both Namjoon and Jungkook are filled with sudden rage when they see their close friends in pain. Before the Admiral knows it, both gods are standing in front of him with fury in their eyes.

"You dare to touch my family?!" Jungkook hisses in anger and suddenly wraps his large hand around the Admiral's throat.

"C-Captain, i-it's me." The Admiral gasps out and tries to pry Jungkook's hand off of his throat.

"I don't give a fuck about who you used to be. You are a monster now. Do not ever call me "Captain", Freyr!" Iseult yells out in anger and disappointment. "This is why you could never remain my crew. You were a disappointment from the moment of your creation."

Iseult's words sting Freyr as he looks at the Captain he admired for so long, the Captain he has waited for.

"Wh-Why? I-Is it b-because I a-m weak?" Freyr cries and continues claw at Jungkook's hands.

"It has nothing to do with strength. It has to do with the greed and darkness in your soul. I saw how you lusted for what was not yours and how you mocked the weak. You are pathetic. Those who hurt the weak are pathetic." Iseult explains to the man in his deadly grip.

"T-Tell I-Illya th-that I-I a-am s-s-orry for no-ot sto-opping th-them." Freyr whispers as everything begins to darken around him.

"What does that mean?" Jungkook asks with a deadly voice and drops Freyr who gasps for air the moment he is released.
