As Jungkook sleeps, Taehyung quietly watches him with a gentle smile lighting up his face. He gently brushes Jungkook's hair our of his face then leans down and leaves a sweet kiss on Jungkook's forehead.
"Forgive me, my Love. I have to leave first, so that the plan works." Taehyung whispers and kisses Jungkook again. Jungkook happily hums when he feels his lover's kiss while he sleeps.
Once Taehyung has admired Jungkook enough, he carefully slips out of the bed and gets dressed.
"Be careful, my Love." Jungkook tells Taehyung as he sits up in the bed.
"Jungkook." Taehyung gasps slightly when he sees Jungkook sitting up.
"I trust you, just be careful." Jungkook smiles and opens his arms for one more hug.
"I'll be careful. If I come back as Azar, drag me to the depths of the sea. You will always be the one who can calm Azar's tormented soul." Taehyung whispers and pulls Jungkook into a sweet, passionate kiss.
"I will do whatever it takes to calm your soul." Jungkook answers and presses their foreheads together.
"I do not want to live as Azar for the rest of our life." Taehyung mutters and closes his eyes.
"You won't. I promise that you will live this life in the form you choose."
"Thank you." Taehyung smiles then pulls away from Jungkook.
"Teach the world to fear you, my Love." Jungkook grins then watches as Taehyung walks out of the cabin.
"You ready?" Yoongi asks as they board the smaller ship that Alvara smuggled for them.
"I am. Jungkook knows." Taehyung sighs as he settles down next to Jin.
"Of course he does. He's a god, and I am sure that he knows how you act. He knows you better than you know yourself." Jin chuckles then looks up at the large ship and sees Namjoon looking down with worried eyes.
"Namjoon knows too." Taehyung murmurs when he sees Namjoon's eyes.
"Of course he does. He is a god and knows me better than I know myself." Jin grins and waves at Namjoon who softly waves back.
"Let's go before Seojoon finds out too. He's way more hotheaded than Captain and Namjoon. He'll stop us." Wooshik mumbles and steers the small ship towards shore.
As they near the shore, they all take a deep breath and move away from Taehyung except Yoongi. Yoongi gently pats Taehyung's shoulder and nods as encouragement.
"You can do this. I will be here to support you while the others make their way towards the castle." Yoongi smiles and motions for the others to head towards the castle.
"Thank you." Taehyung smiles then steps off of the boat and into the dark energy.
The moment that Taehyung steps into the dark energy, he feels like his body is being ripped to pieces. The energy surges through his body like a tsunami, tearing his cells apart one-by-one. a pained scream rips through the dawn while a column of fire ignites around Taehyung.
Jungkook clenches his fists and commands his armada towards shore. He watches in horror as his lover is ruthlessly torn apart by the dark energy. The dark energy is too strong for Taehyung's form to contain.
"Taehyung!" Yoongi shouts out and tries to pull the nymph from the scorching flames but is instantly repelled and burned.
"Please, Love. I trust you. Pull through." Jungkook whispers as tears stream down his face.
After a couple of seconds, Yoongi calms down when he realizes that the dark energy is still being absorbed which means that somehow, Taehyung is still there.
