the last time i stayed up til twelve
was when i was young
and naive
the last time i grabbed midnight snacks
was when i was fourteen.
i had a boyfriend at the time
we watched up movies late at night
laughing and staying up
long past nine.
i haven't gotten food so late
since the summer we fell in love
now i'm carrying up bundles
of random drinks and stuff.
facetimes until dawn
movies all night
waking up to the view
of the bright facetime light.
haven't felt this feeling
in a really long time
since back when
i called him mine
i don't miss him
not at all
he cheated
he lied
but still i wonder
if the fault was mine?
