Salutations to the Adamantaea,
The unconquerable goddess of magic,
Salutations to the Aenaos,
She who is eternal; the source from where we came forth.
I bow down to the dark haired lady,
Fair yet mysterious like the night,
I bow down to the Aktinochiatis,
Whose hair is radiant and beautiful.
You are the Alkimos,
The powerful being of the night,
You are the Alexeatis,
The great averter of evil.
You are the Anassa Eneroi,
The queen of every deceased soul,
Also you are called the Angelos,
The magnificent divine messenger.
You are of great contradictions,
For you are hailed as the tender and delicate Atala as well,
You are praised as the best in the world,
And the enemy of mankind, as well.
You are the Daeira,
The knower of the secrets of life and death,
You are praised as the Deichteira,
For you are our teacher too.
Great lady! Oh, luminous being!
You are Eranne; the lovely maiden!
Your frame glows with divine radiance,
Akin to the demure rays of the moon, enhancing your divine grace.
Oh mother! Our constant guardian,
You are Ephoros, the great overseer,
You protect the soul and the body as well,
And rid us from every vices, evils and sins.
You are the daughter of the morning, And Erototokos the bearer of love,
You are called the Geneteira too,
The lady who birthed this world.
You are the Kthonia,
The lady of underworld,
You are the guide of dead,
And the ultimate goal of every soul.
Glorious being with a thousand names,
You have created every world in existence,
Your forms are many, so is your majesty,
Hail Hecate, the great mother!
You are the supreme soul,
From where we all came forth,
You are the beginning of life,
And the quintessence of liberation.
Thus here ends the hymn to the great mother,
She who is our protectress,
May she bless us with true wisdom,
That is my wish to her.
