Salutations to the heavenly Father,
He whose arms are our true abode,
Salutations to the great mysterious one,
He who presides over every aspect of death and life.I bow down to the great lord,
He who who birthed himself,
I bow down to the sacred Nun,
One whose water's were blessed to have been touched by the lotus feet of the all-father.Your form is hidden from our sight,
None knows your magnificent appearance,
Your being is full of incomprehensible mysteries,
Much deeper than the depths of the vastest ocean. You are the voice of downtrodden,
Patiently you listen to our problems,
No matter what treachery comes our way,
You avert it with your single gaze. You are the great nurterer,
He who brought forth life on earth,
You are the Supreme breath from where we came,
The creator of both gods and men.You are the vast quandary,
The one which many wish to solve,
But is it possible to know you fully,
Is there any begining or end to your glories? You listen to every prayer that is been made,
You answer to each one of them,
I believe you shall listen to mine too, oh good father,
And bless us with a healthy world. You are the most compassionate,
Your heart bleeds for all your children,
You never make a division amongst us,
Yet why do we do so to ourselves? You are the great lord of time,
Controlling both death and life,
You never let a life be wasted away,
Or let death touch a blooming efflorescence. The utterance of your name keeps away danger,
It diminishes hearing your wonderous name,
No matter what happens in this life,
I beg you to never leave my side. You are the beginning and the end,
You are the morning and the midday,
Your names and forms are uncountable,
Yet you have neither. You are the sun rising in the east,
The moon at its peak,
You are the clouds that bring forth rain,
And all worldly pleasures one can name. You are the smoke of the purifying incense,
The fresh blooms with which I pray,
You are the drink and dishes which we eat,
You reside in us as the primal feeling of hunger. You are love,
The greatest of all emotions,
You created them all yourself,
But you are detached from their effects. You made the stars and the cosmos,
You bring forth their ends too,
You never let order be toppled by chaos,
Hail Amun-Ra, the great keeper of cosmic balance!Your power is fearsome,
Your heart is full of passion,
Or why else would you restrain thyself,
From punishing those who taint your name?Your holy name is taken after every prayer,
Sometimes with love, sometimes with fear,
Sometimes you are the lover we so desire,
At others the father who guides. You let not a tear fall in vain,
You give hope to the heartbroken,
Your wrath befalls upon the sinners,
Who gave pain to the heart of others. You are the Supreme Being,
The one who makes, preserves and desecrates the universe,
You are the source from where we came,
You are our final destination too. Thus here ends the hymn to the great father,
He who protects and heeds to all our need,
May he purge this sinful globe,
Return hope to the hearts of men.***
