Everything around you was starting to fly around, getting picked up by the Typhon's mighty wind. "Damn it! Grab onto something!" Aki shouts worriedly as he grabs onto a large street light pole.

You are ducked down along with Angel. You see Aki stretching out his hand so you can hold onto him. But before you can grab onto him, you hear Angel scream as he starts to get lifted from the ground. Without thinking, you grab onto his shirt. "Hold on," you say as you take out your scythe and hook it on the floor.

"Grab onto something!!" Aki screams, anxious about whether he will be able to grab you to safety.

"I can't! There's no way!!" Angel screams desperately. Your grip slowly starts slipping against your weapon's handle, slowly sliding towards the Typhon. Aki reaches out and grabs your arm, tightly gripping it, so you don't slip away.

"It's fine... It's fine! You can let me go! If I'm going to die, im fine with it!" Angel says to you, "It only means today was my time! It's okay! I've been ready to die for ages now!"

You close your eyes, gripping harder onto Angel's shirt. However, he is pulled harder by the force of the wind, and his shirt tears from your hand. Without thinking, you grab Angel's hand and pull him towards you.

Angel was shocked, "Wha...!" he said. Aki pulls you both in, as he holds you tightly while you hold Angel close to you.

"Wha..Wh- Why did you touch my hand?!" Angel exclaimed, worried for your well-being. Aki looked at you with concern, gripping onto you tighter.

"No I don't want to die, But I don't want to see others die in front of me. I've seen so much death already, and I don't plan on seeing it today," you yelled over the loud commotion of the storm.

"How much does she have left?!" Aki asks frantically.

"One-"

"I don't care! Don't tell me I don't want to know," you huffed, "find out when you're not around me!"

Aki looked at you with sad eyes. He was worried about you and how you kept risking your life for others. He held you closer to him, "Why couldn't it have been me?" he somberly thought to himself.

You three wait for the fight to end between the three devils. You see the Typhon devil get taken down by Denji but pushed back by the bomb devil. The wind calmed down, and everyone could move freely without the risk of imminent harm. You let go of Angel, allowing him to walk away. However, Aki didn't do the same; he held onto you. Angel turned back, "I'll give you two some space," he said apathetically.

Aki drops his head into your neck, "I'm sorry you were forced to give up more of your life... I should've been the one," he wept.

"I wasn't forced, Aki. I wanted to save Angel. I would've done the same if it was anyone else. I'm so sick and tired of seeing my teammates die..." you say, placing your hand on his back to comfort him. "I don't regret my decision, and if it shortens my life span to one year, month, day, or whatever I don't care." You turn to face Aki, he raises his head to look at you.

"I'll be fine okay, as long as you are around me, that's all that matters okay," you smile.

He softly smiles before it falls again, "I'm still sorry... What will I tell your mom when we check in with her?"

You scoff, "Nothing, you will tell her nothing okay. Speaking of which, I should probably check in with her, I tried calling her these past few days, but she hasn't been able to answer me... I hope everything is okay back home," you sigh.

"Has she called you back?" Aki asks.

"Not yet, she only left a voice mail a day ago or so, she probably hasn't paid her phone bill yet. She can be a tad bit forgetful at times," you giggle. "She'll call soon, so don't ya worry."
