Chapter 28

~3rd POV~

"That's my pork chop!" Tom exclaimed as he glared down an extremely confused Mini.

"Didn't have your name on it." Mini shrugged as he continued eating.

"You!"

In an instant the brunette was pinned to the floor by the other.

"Shut up." Jimmy mumbled as he rolled over in his sleeping bag.

"Damn Scott has been rubbing off on you." Pearl joked, gently nudging the others side.

"Shhh...." The blonde grumbled in his sleep as he attempted to swat her away.

"So... who wants to deal with them?" Zee questioned as he looked around at the others.

"..."

"All in favour of Netty doing it!" Quickly everyone's hands shot up in an instant.

"Why me?" Netty sighed as she stood up from her seat.

"Because you're the most reasonable? Well I guess we could allows get Grian to do it-"

"-Fine, fine." Netty laughed as she walked over to the two babbling idiots.

"This has been oddly peaceful hasn't it?" Pearl pointed out, as she stared off into the night sky.

"Yeah... I feel like something should've... happened?" Martyn sighed, slowly rising from his makeshift sleeping bag.

"Oh my Notch! He's alive!" Zee laughed as Martyn finally crawled out of his bed.

"I wasn't asleep for that long, was I?" Martyn questioned, turning towards Pearl for an answer.

"Only like... 3 days?" Pearl shrugged, not even turning to look at everyone.

"Wait what?!" Martyn exclaimed.

"Still not the record though, Grian holds that one with having been asleep for 8 days. Though Salem holds a close second with 6 and a half." Zee explained, offering a piece of bread to the blonde.

"That's... mildly concerning...." Martyn sighed, taking to leaning against Netty's seat as he ate.

"Eh, we've really got nothing to do here so we might as well sleep." Zee shrugged, they had been doing absolutely nothing for the past few weeks, it truly was oddly peaceful.

But of course. Peace never lasts long.

"Is everyone ready to play a game?" A voice boomed through the spawn, catching absolutely everyone off guard.

*yawn* "What's happening?"

"I hope so!" It laughed as the ground opened up below their feet, swallowing them into a black abyss.

"Welcome Evolutionists! Welcome, to the ride of your life."

Sorry for the short chapter? Anyway. Why didn't I post yesterday? Well it's a really stupid story... so story time? As I said before I had my nephew's birthday yesterday, and my cousin challenged me to a game of badminton on the switch... and I may or may not have... pulled a muscle in my shoulder playing Wii sports again. Yeah... this isn't the first time- anyways story time over. Hope you enjoyed the chapter?
