Chapter 29

~EX POV~

"How much longer?" The slime boy questioned for about the fifth time in the last 5 Notchdamn minutes!

"Shut up. We get there, when we get there." I snapped at him.

"Sounds like you don't know where you're going-"

"-Never mind!" The- uh- new kid? Still don't remember his name. Started complaining but stopped mid way after getting a glance from a very tired Hels.

"Can I hold Beef?" Hels grumbled as he attempted to glare me down.

"Fuck off." I growled at him, pulling Beef closer to my side.

"Ooo~ someone's got a soft spot~" The slime chuckled.

"Do you want to get out of here?" I questioned as I stared the odd blue slime down- wait why is he a blue slime- how is he a blue slime- wait what- never mind. That was off topic.

"Sure, sure man." The other kid- y'know he kinda looks like an emo... emo kid scoffed at me.

"I'm fine to just leave right now. Leave you two here." I suggested, stopping my walk to look to them.

"What do you mean 'you two'?" The blue slime questioned me.

"Oh yeah no. I'm taking Beef and xB, you two can fend for yourselves." I laughed turning back to continue my walk.

*scoff* "How dare ye!" The slime kid dramatically exclaimed.

"Keep walking." Hels reminded him, attempting to take out the two's ankles as they walk.

"..."

"Can I hold Beef?" xB questioned.

"Fine...." I sighed, handing over the half asleep brunette.

"Why does he get to!-"

"Shut up."

"I feel a lot of favouritism here-"

"Shut up."

"Can we stop and sleep?"

"Shut-"

"-I'm kinda tired too...."

"Fine." I sighed, allowing everyone to stop their pace and walk into the large empty room beside us.

"Look at these engravings!" xB exclaimed as he pointed them out to Beef.

"Why don't you yell at them?" The emo grumbled.

"Well maybe if you didn't constantly nag me you wouldn't be either." I growled at the two, turning back to setting up a bunch of sleeping bags.

"What do you think evil- uh- knight- man?" The slime questioned, looking to Hels. Bad choice.

"First off it's Hels. And you're quickly making me understand why he has favourites." The knight hissed at the two, almost knocking the emo over as he walked past.

"I'm a great person! Right Hypno!" The slime exclaimed.

"Yeah- sure- better than possessed Wels-" The emo shrugged, turning away from the now dumbfounded slime.

"Wait what-"

"What."

"Since when?" 

"Oh yeah Wels got possessed. Don't know by who though." The emo kid stated simply, only giving a slight shrugged to the other's confusion.

"Wels got possessed by the rift thingy, he made a deal with it or something." Beef mumbled, while leaning heavily on xB for support.

"That's nice to know-"

"-I've got somewhere to be. I might see you all in a few days." Hels stated before grabbing everything he had and straight up just walking away.

"Did he just-"

"-Yes. Yes he did." I sighed, turning back to the group at hand.

"Someone's gonna die~" The slime laughed.

"Sleep now or you loose you sleeping bag privileges." I stated as I walked over to the other two and just picked up Beef.

"How will you do that-"

"Like this. Now you're sleeping on the floor." I growled, pulling the sleeping bag out from under the slime.

"Fair play." He simply stated before just straight up melting.

"Why did I agree to this."

This totally isn't me stalling at writing the next chapter. No. Of course not. Anyway good luck guessing what's going to happen, because little fun fact, there is no plan. I don't even know yet- yep. I have no idea how I manage to do this almost daily with absolutely no plan. Yay!

Also I love doing EX's POV because he's either blatantly confused or just given up. Also the small details I get to make, like the fact that not once has he said either Jevin or Hypno's name but consistently remembers Beef and xB's.
