𝐇𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞?

Fast forward into time, spring break was over meaning they'd have to return to school. It was such a pain the ass, it was dreadfully boring too. Steve didn't really felt like attending any classes so he decided to skip school. He was figuring out on what to do. He didn't really have much of a choice but he thought of going to Eddie's place. He hadn't seen him, for days now. Did he really mess up at the store or is something wrong with him. He slightly felt worried for him so he decided to check up on him.

A few minutes have passed and he arrived at the trailer park. He'd step out of the car, closing the door behind before he headed towards Eddie's trailer. He'd take a deep breath before knocking on the door. "Hellooo, anyone there?" He knocked on the door louder before stopping. What was he thinking? Barging into peoples places without permission. He would sigh heavily before sitting down on the stairs, waiting for someone to respond or open the door. He forgot about one thing though. Maybe Eddie was at school? Technically he was the only one that didn't go. He's waiting for nothing really, he should've thought about, it sooner.
It was only soon before a van pulls up, driving like crazy. Steve seemed to recognize that van somewhere, it was Eddie!

He'd squint his eyes trying to see who got out of the van before he heard a familiar voice shouting. "Harrington? What are you doing here?" Eddie would approach him, he was weirded on why he was here. "Well uhm you see, I just decided to check up on you cause I haven't seen you in a few days." He'd scratch the back of his head as he answered nervously. "Woahh! I can't believe Steve Harrington actually cares for me." He'd jokingly punch Steve. He'd flinch from the sudden interaction. "It's not like I care for you or anything- And I thought you were avoiding me because of what happend at the store." He'd look away, thinking that mightve be what caused the reason they haven't seen eachother in days.

"Is that so?" Eddie chuckled, that wasn't necessarily the reason on why he was avoiding Steve. These past days, he'd try to avoid him. Thinking those dreams where it consists of him and Steve doing things. He couldn't stop it from happening so he thought ignoring him might make a change? But no, it became worser. "I'm afraid that is not the reason. I'll explain it to you once we get inside. Come in!" He'd unlock the door before getting inside. "Are you coming or not?" said Eddie. Steve just looked at him confusedly. He'd shake his head before standing up, then getting inside aswell. "My place is not err, the best so bare with it." He'd look at him sighing. "No no, it's perfectly fine. So uhm, what are you gonna explain?" Steve crossed his arms, tapping his feet like a mother waiting for something. "I don't think I can explain, it's something really unbelievable."

"Eddie we've been stuck in other dimensions, fought creatures that are definitely not from this world. What is there not to believe?" Steve raised his eyebrow, curiosity already reached him. "Fuck, just- sit down." He'd sigh. Steve would then sit down on the couch as he was told to. "Am I gonna be the only one sitting down?" He'd pat the empty spot next to him while looking at Eddie. "Fine fine fine..I could last without sitting you know." Eddie would sit down beside Steve. Steve honestly kinda regretted asking him to sit down next to him, he ended up manspreading the whole seat. "Can you please just close your legs a little?!" said Steve, he was annoyed. "Not my fault you wanted me to sit here." Eddie grinned, it was clearly Steve's fault.

"Whatever, I'm not gonna hear you explain if we keep bashing eachother any longer." He'd roll his eyes. Eddie would then sit properly, getting serious. He wasn't sure if he should tell him or not. There could be many consequences that would arise. He'd take a deep breath before fiddling with his hands. "Well these past days, I kept dreaming about you and its seriously annoying." Eddie looked at him nervously. "Is that it? What am I doing in those dreams?"

Steve slightly bend down, focused on what he's going to say next. "Uhm, we did unexplainable things. Like making out and shit." He'd look away from him, he was already blushing so hard trying to explain. Steve's eyes would widen, he didn't think he would experience the same too. Steve would look away from him too, blushing aswell. "L-Look it means nothing okay? it's not like we're supposed to get with eachother after those dr-" Before Eddie could even finish. Steve cut him off by closing his mouth with his hands. He was suprised all of sudden. "Shh-, I could hear someone coming." Both of their eyes would be on the door, nervous on whats to come. Steve would then grab Eddie's wrist before standing up. "We need to get out of here!" He'd tightly hold onto his wrist before storming out of the trailer. He didn't know where to go so he'd drag Eddie into the forest with him

As they dissapeared into the forest, someone would approach the trailer. "Helloooo? Is anyone there??" It wasn't anybody, it was just Dustin and the others. They just came to see Steve and invite him to the arcade considering Max told him he was last seen here. "I don't think anyone's inside.." Max said as she saw a sneaker just at the entrance of the forest, pointing it out. "Hey aren't those Steve's?" Dustin looked at it, being hella confused.
