chapter 9

I'm going to put this here yes lapis her stuff was moved into cabin 3, as I forgot to say anything about that last time.

Lapis pov

I had woken up from a quite comfy sleep with a knock on the door. i opened the door of my cabin to see luke standing there with a smile.

Luke:" good morning princess.

me:" princess, seriously.

Luke:" well you are one and look the part so why not address you accordingly.

Me:" did you come here only to flirt with or is there another reason.

Luke:" ha, I actually came here to ask you if you would still follow cabin 11th training schedule, it's got to become lonely in there. I don't want to see you deal with that all day princess.

me:" sure, if you can handle me that is.

Luke:" Is that a challenge.

suddenly Annabeth pops out of nowhere and said:" watchu doing luke?

Luke:" ow hey anna, just asking the newbie over here to join Hermes cabin in their schedule.

Annabeth:" why do that.

Me:" well that was quite rude, I know our parents don't like each other but that doesn't mean you need to control everyone around you to stay away from me.

Annabeth:" how did you know who my mom is.

me:" ow come on now, blond hair, grey eyes, unusually aggressive towards me, coming from the direction of the Athena cabin it not all that difficult.

Luke:" she's not wrong anna, you are literally a mini-me of the lady Athena.

the horn that alerted breakfast rang and luke asked me to walk with him while Annabeth went to the Athena group glaring at me.

we went to dinner and split up when we reached the tables, our food got served, there were pancakes, all types of fruit, yoghurt, and syrup for the pancakes, we did our offerings and started eating.

after we were done luke came to get me again, having told his cabin that I would still train with them, the first thing we were going to do was the lava-wall climb, I managed to do it in 5 minutes.

time skip

we were walking back from sword fighting where I had whipped everyone's butts, shocking and scaring everyone around when we suddenly bumped into a giant gorilla looking bodybuilder, I looked at their face and low and behold, its Clarisse La Reu.

she sneered down at me before seeing who I was, she smirked and said:" well hello there newbie.

me:" good evening ares child.

Clarisse:" you sound full of yourself kid, let's knock you down a peg.

me:" well you're a chav ain't ya.

Clarisse:" the fucks a chav you fish licker.

at this point in time, Annabeth decided to rear her head around the corner once again and said while hiding a smirk:" I think she called you some type of whore.

me:" no you knobhead, chav means someone who is patronizing.

Annabeth looked both embarrassed and insulted before running off with tears in her eyes, I have no idea how Percy put up with her.

the bathroom incident happened but instead of people whispering about me and toilets they were talking about just how stupid the Ares kids were for taking me to a place that has water to "initiate me"

another time skip

we finally had made it to capture the flag after a full week of non-stop harassment from both the Athena and Ares cabins.

Annabeth had just asked Chiron something which made everyone make a face, she wanted to put Athena and Ares cabin in one team against the rest of the camp. she gave the excuse that she wanted to test out how strong a team of pure thinkers and pure brutes would be.

Chiron agreed that it would be a good idea to run this test and then started a vote on which cabin led the other team as Clarisse and Annabeth had come to the agreement that Ares cabin would head their team just so that the Ares kids wouldn't get confused by the colours (yes most of them will pull that shit because I need a reason to distinguish the teams as still being red vs blue).

my cabin had won but that was probably because they expected me to be amazing at leading, I had actually decided to divide specific task's over some camp counsellors and then have the rest go to the thing they excelled at most.

Luke was the head charger, the people who went in to capture the flag as he is a Hermes kid and therefore a natural stealer.

i was heading offence, we were tasked with keeping everyone off of the chargers

and charles Beckendorf, who is the counsellor for the Hephaestus cabin, leading the defence on the flag.

spoiler alert we won, it took us about 10 minutes to get the flag and carry it over the halfway line, luke was the one to steal the flag so it had turned into the Hermes flag.

everyone was cheering as Chiron and surprisingly Mr d walked into the open area we were in at the time.

Chiron:" Well done campers, you all did wonderful.

everyone bowed to Chiron to show gratitude, except Annabeth and Clarisse who were both still fuming from the quite humiliating defeat.

Mr D:" don't let one win get to your head lupin jonsen.

I decided to taunt him a bit just because I could:" sir, yes sir. I said while pulling a salute causing the campers around us to eighter snicker or look baffled at the fact I just mouthed off to a god.

Mr d looked irritated at what i said and spoke in a tone gods usually put on when wanting to intimidated:" don't test me kid, or i will sed you galloping to your daddy.

I wasn't really affected by his threat and said:" ok I guess.

I walked off towards the common space, the rest of my team following wanting to go celebrate our win.

when we got there Lady Hestia set in the middle tending to the hearth in the middle of the common area, i decided to go up to her and speak with her seeing as everyone was quite busy either celebrating or moping.

I greeted her with a bow and addressed her correctly, she turned around and smiled at me saying:" well hello there dear, you must be lapis. your father talks a lot about you to me.

me:" I'm glad to hear you already have knowledge of me my lady.

Lady Hestia:" ow please call me aunt or aunty dear.

me:" ok aunty.

aunt Hestia and I had a very pleasant conversation for the entirety of the party. eventually, Chiron sent us to bed. I said goodbye to aunt Hestia and went back to my cabin.
