Mason doesn't wait to see who picks up before storming out the bathroom. I follow him in a daze, unable to look at our friends' faces as we re-enter the kitchen. But I hear the shock when Sam speaks to us.

"What's going on?" he asks, his tone curious and concerned, "Mason?"

"Who's phone is ringing?" Mason asks, his voice hard and cold.

"It rang in the living room."

Sam barely gets the words out before Mason has charged forwards towards that room.

"Why does it matter?" Sam calls out after him.

Kate walks over to me in the meantime, lifting my chin gently to look at her.

"What's going on Lexi?" she asks quietly but I don't get chance to respond before a crash of furniture from the next room distracts us.

Sam, Kate, Lia and I run into the room, the scene one of confusion and anger on Mason's part when we get there.

Mason has someone pinned against the wall, a trophy from the table next to them shattered on the floor.

It's Sebastian.

"Lexi come over here." Mason says, his eyes still locked on a pissed off looking Seb.

I walk over nervously and stand behind Mason.

"Ask him." Mason states, "This has been happening to you, not me. You get to ask him why."

"Why what?!" Seb snaps, "What the fuck is happening?"

"Get off of him Jennings." Sophia yells but she's ignored.

"Why did you do it?" I ask quietly, in disbelief Seb could do such a thing.

"Do what? I don't know what the hell is going on." Seb protests, straining against Mason's hold.

I swallow my nerves and push my strength into my voice. I cannot sound weak in front of him.

"Why have you been tormenting me with texts?"

"What?! The first time I text you was tonight in the group chat!" Seb shouts, trying to muscle Mason off of him but I doubt anyone, even I, could get Mason to let go right now.

"What texts Lexi?" Sam asks calmly.

I look at Seb only when I reply, "Someone's been texting me since I got here. I was convinced it was Mason. Everything was so specific, like they were close to me. But it wasn't him."

"Why didn't you say something?" Sophia asks, sounding almost hurt I didn't go to them.

I turn to face her, "It was harmless at first. Annoying but nothing that I thought I had to worry about. Besides like I said, I thought it was Mason messing with me."

"Harmless at first? It's not anymore?" Hugo questions.

I shake my head and Lia gasps.

"Your jacket and the texts at the rink." she says and I nod.
