You have a nightmare

Tony Stark - Iron Man:

"No...", you whimper and wallow from left to right in the big bed. It's almost every night the same nightmare. You're kidnapped again. It hunts you in your dreams and in the reality. You want to be tough, but you aren't strong enough.

Scared you sit up and scream almost your lungs out. These aren't tears anymore rather waterfall. Your view is blurry from the tears. You don't know if you are still asleep or awake. "No...no...no", you whisper this word over and over again.

In the meantime...

"Sir? Mrs (Y/L/N) has a nightmare and screams", Jarvis informs Tony. "Not again...", he whispers worried and runs as fast as he can into the bedroom. You are still on the bed and cry. Tony rushes to your side. It breaks him inside to see you like this.

Softly he hugs you and kisses your head. "Everything is fine. It was just a dream. I'm by your side now", the billionaire whispers into your ear. You hide your face in your hands. He shouldn't see you crying. You want to be strong, because you are a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.

"It's okay to be scared. You don't have to hide your tears. Even if you are crying you are beautiful", Tony continues 'til you are asleep again.  

Bruce Banner - Hulk:

"Go away! No!", you scream and turns around. It's just a dream, but it looks so real. You heart tries to jump out of your chest as your nightmare ends. With wet cheeks from the tears you enter the bathroom. You look into the mirror and wipe a tear away with your thumb. The man, who kidnapped you hunts you in your dreams.

 You have to admit you are scared to death. Light steps bring you to the lab where Bruce is still working. Sighing you open the door and enter the room. "Bruce?", you ask softly. You don't want to scare him. The doctor turns around and looks at you surprised.

Bruce comes closer and strokes your hair back to see your face. He knows immediately what's going on. "Oh, (Y/N). You are safe and the man can't hurt you anymore", the doctor mumbles, while he strokes your head. You hide your face into his chest. His heartbeat calms you down.

"I'm so sorry. I'm just so damn scared", you whisper into his shirt. He kisses your forehead softly. "It's not your fault. Don't say that you are sorry. We're going through this together, okay?", you can see the love in his eyes. He stays by your side the entire night.

Steve Rogers - Captain America:

"Steve, please! Don't die... don't die...", you mumble the last sentence over and over again. A lonely tear runs over your cheek. Steve next to you wakes up. In the first second he's just confused and still a bit sleepy, but then he hears your cry.

The Captain shakes your shoulder softly. His heart breaks, when you have a nightmare. You whisper again his name. (Y/N)! Wake up!", he strokes the hair out of your face. Suddenly you open your eyes. The tears won't stop. He wipes them away with his thumbs.

"I'm here. Stop crying, (Y/N). The nightmare is over", Steve tries to comfort you, while he puts his arm around your shoulder. You snuggle your face into his chest. "Please, never leave me, Steve. I've dreamed that you die in my arms. I love you so much. A part of me died with you", you sob. The pictures are still in front of your eyes. You put your hand over your eyes.

At one hand he's honored that you're worried so much about him. At the other hand it's the worst thing he had ever seen. "I won't die. I love you too", Steve hope that he can keep his promise. To calm you down he lists you everything that he loves about you.
