An Eventful Night

When I get home, I go inside and up to my room, then I change into a galaxy pattern bikini. I put on a pair of sandals, and grab a towel, a pair of shorts and a cut off tank top before going back downstairs.  I grab a coke from the fridge, then I go get in my truck and head to the swimming hole. When I get there, I back my truck in, then get out and let the tailgate down. Tyler and Lee pull up a few minutes later and I help them get the coolers out of the back of Tyler's truck. 

"Where's Summer?" Tyler asks. 

"I'm not sure. I got home before her and she wasn't there when I left. It probably just took her a while to get to her car and out of the parking lot." I answer.

"Okay. Well, I got y'all flavored beers and I got some regulars for Lee and I." Tyler replies. 

"Okay, thanks." I respond before getting my favorite flavor out and opening it.

I take a sip from my beer and sit on the tailgate of my truck. Lee joins me after a few minutes and he looks over at me. 

"So, what type of math homework do you have?" I ask him.

He chuckles before responding, "It's some modeling bullshit they have us doing. Basically, I took the measurements of a building, and I have to draw it to scale. I need help making a good scale to use, and I know you're pretty artistic so I figured you could help me with the drawing a little bit. Y'know give me pointers or something." 

"That.. doesn't sound like math. I mean, I'll still help but it most definitely doesn't sound  like math class." I say with a laugh. 

"Well the rest of the class is like, life skill related. We have to calculate the total amount of a loan after paying it off for x amount of years, calculate profits, and so on." He replies. 

I nod and take another drink, then I slide off and set my drink where I was sitting. 

"Well, I'm gonna go ahead and get in. Care to join?" I ask.

"Sure, let me change my shoes and I'll be right behind you." He answers. 

I walk towards the water and wait at the bank for Lee. When he joins me, we walk in together. I see Summer pull up then I dive into the water. When I resurface, Lee is still exactly where I left him and I laugh. 

"Are you okay? Do you need me to come hold your hand for you to come in any farther?" I tease.

Lee smiles before diving in and swimming after me. He paddles after me for a minute or two before catching me. He picks me up, and throws me into the water as I scream. I come back up to Lee laughing, then I wipe the water off of my face before walking over to him. 

"What was that for?" I ask.

"Hmm.. for not holding my hand" He answers with a smile. 

I smile at him then he grabs me by the waist and pulls my body to his. He looks into my eyes for a moment, and right when he starts to lean in I turn, hearing Summer and Tyler wading out to us. I hear Lee sigh before letting go. Summer tackles me into the water and when I resurface, I pick her up and throw her, like Lee did to me, before turning to the boys. I hear Summer walk up behind me so I turn around and we make eye contact. We smile, then nod at one another before I turn back around, and we tackle the guys. I get Lee, Summer gets Tyler. We laugh, but when the boys get back up they lock their sights on us, and we know we have to flee. We run as fast as we can through the water, but they catch up and grab us. 

"Okay, Okay! You got us!" I yell while laughing. 

Lee lets me go, but Tyler throws Summer into the water again. We all laugh, then I walk back up to the truck to finish my drink. I hear something in the trees by Tyler's truck and after grabbing my drink, I walk over there. I can hear something walking, and I watch for a moment expecting some kind of animal to come out, but nothing does. I shrug it off and join the group again. A few hours, and a few drinks later, we decide to call it a night.
