"Look, if he cheats on me I'll break up with him, simple as that," I say.

"If he cheats on you I want you to know that it's not your fault," Austin says

I nod softly and he rubs my arm.

"Well, would you like to go out to dinner?" He asks.

"Sure, where would you like to go?" I answer.

"Uhm.. there's this nice restaurant a town or so over that I'd like to show you," He says.

"How nice? Like, the nicest dress I have?" I ask.

"Yeah, pretty much," He answers.

"Well, okay. Let me go upstairs and change," I say.

"Well, you go ahead and get ready, do whatever you want, and I'll run to my house and get ready, and bring my car back," He says.

"Okay, will do. Let me know when you get back," I say

He nods before going and putting his shirt on and walking out of the door. I rush upstairs and pull out the best dress I have, a long blue glittery dress, with a plunging neck, and a slit up to my hip. I go to my bathroom and curl my hair as fast as I can before pulling the top half up and pinning it with a silver flower hairpin. I pull a few of the hairs out to frame my face then I put on a light rose gold eye shadow, mascara, and some lip gloss. I walk out and get undressed then I loosen up the lace-back of the dress before stepping in it and pulling it up. I stand in front of the mirror and tighten the lace, then I tie it off. I bend over and pick up a pair of silver heels before sitting on the side of my bed and putting them on. I hear the front door open and close so I look around for anything I might be missing. I determine that I have everything so I walk downstairs and, to my surprise, see Lee standing in the living room.

"Oh, where are you going all dressed up like that?" Lee asks.

"Uh, Austin invited me to dinner. He said there was a nice restaurant he wanted to show me," I answer.

Lee walks over and grabs my wrist.

"Why is he taking you out? You're dating me now, you can't just go out with anyone, Eliza," He says.

"He's my friend now, Lee. It's like you hanging out with one of your girl friends," I respond, trying to pull my arm away.

"You know my friends, I don't know him. Plus, He wouldn't take you to a nice enough restaurant for you to dress like that if he wasn't trying to impress you or something," Lee says, gripping my arm tighter.

"Lee let go of me. You're hurting me," I say.

"I let you drink my blood, I agree to continue going out with you, knowing what you are, and you repay me by going out with someone else? Go change," He says, not letting go.

"I will not. Austin invited me to dinner and I want to go. I never said anything when you went out with all of those girls while you were trying to get with me," I say.

Lee slaps me and I hold my cheek with my free hand.

"We weren't -" He starts.

Austin walks in and sees us then he tackles Lee to the ground and punches him a few times.

"Austin, stop, get off of him," I plead.

Austin looks up at me then gets up. He picks Lee up and throws him out the front door before slamming it.

"Are you okay?" Austin asks.

"I.. I think so," I answer, while slowly pulling my hand away from my face.
