CHAPTER 7: BLOOD RED (EDITED)

Naruto conducted an extensive search throughout Konoha in pursuit of Shisui, but he could not detect the Uchiha's chakra or presence within the Fire Country.

"Excuse me, Itachi-nii!" Naruto exclaimed breathlessly as he confronted the startled Uchiha.

"What's wrong, Naruto?" Itachi inquired.

"Where is Sui-nii? I haven't seen or sensed him anywhere!"

Unbeknownst to Naruto, Itachi tensed up. "I'm sorry, but I don't know," he replied, attempting to leave. However, Naruto's intense gaze compelled him to reconsider. "You're aware that I can sense emotions, right?" Naruto added, sensing sorrow and regret emanating from the ponytailed man.

"I have sensed Shisui's Mangekyou Sharingan in two different locations," Naruto revealed, prompting Itachi to abruptly turn back and face him.

"Very well. Let us proceed elsewhere," Itachi agreed.

Suddenly, a swirling vortex materialized in the air, engulfing both of them. Kamui.

"It's quite dark and cold in here," Itachi muttered, rubbing his arms for warmth.

"It doesn't feel that cold," Naruto replied, tilting his head.

"Anyway, I'm not sure where to begin. The Uchiha clan has been plotting a coup d'état..." Naruto clenched his fists. "And Shisui attempted to use his Kotoamatsukami on Father and the elders to halt it. However, Danzo... took his left eye." Naruto's frustration reached its peak, causing him to exit the dimension abruptly.

"Don't leave me here!" Itachi screamed, fearing he would freeze in Naruto's absence.

Naruto stomped his way toward the Hokage Tower, leaving craters with each step. (It's worth noting that Naruto is still clad in his commander outfit, which consists solely of a black cloak and mask, concealing his appearance from outside observers.)

Bursting into the office, Naruto's abrupt entrance captured the attention of its occupants.

"Hokage-sama, please..." Danzo began, but his words were cut short when he locked eyes with Naruto. His gaze revealed the fury of a wrathful demon, his eyes glowing a fiery red, sending shivers down the Hokage's spine.

"What do you want, Kitsune?" Danzo audaciously asked, his tone dripping with arrogance.

Naruto remained silent, his anger still simmering despite Kurama's attempts to calm him down. Even Kurama's soothing presence, usually effective in quelling Naruto's rage, failed to pacify him this time. The special bond Naruto shared with Shisui was the reason for his unrelenting fury.

"How dare you barge in while we are in the middle of a meeting!" Koharu exclaimed, but her voice trailed off as she caught sight of Naruto's eye through the mask's eyehole. The intensity emanating from that single eye sent chills down her spine.

Whoever had provoked this man seemed to have roused the very essence of malevolence itself.

"I will never forgive you!" Naruto declared, his own voice resonating with a demonic quality. The sound froze everyone in place; they had never heard Kitsune's demonic voice before, as he rarely spoke. However, Hiruzen knew it was different from when Kurama spoke or Naruto's usual voice.
