CHAPTER 18: HELL

Right after they were dismissed, before Sasuke could look at Naruto, the blonde was already gone.

"I'm going home now" Kakashi vanished with an eye-smile.

"Naruto has something urgent to do, he told me that you should wait for him at your usual training ground" a figure spoke.

"And why would I believe you?" Sasuke questioned.

"I don't need you to believe me."

"What?"

Nothing replied.

~ With Naruto

The blonde is currently kneeling infront of the Hokage, "Why would you not let me forfeit?" He asked, head still hung low as to show respect to the Hokage.

"If you were to forfeit there would be an uneven number of contestants" The Hokage casually replied as he smoked his pipe (i think that sounded so wrong) causing Naruto to sweatdrop.

Would've been better if he forfeited but okay.

"Have you got any information from the snake and his right hand man?" Naruto changed the topic.

"Kabuto Yakushi yes but Orochimaru... nothing as of now."

Naruto sighed as expected from the snake sannin.

"Wouldn't be surprised if Anko manages to kill him first before juicing out any information" Naruto chuckled, "True" Hiruzen smiled.

"Should I even go, I mean like I can't trust him but what if he's waiting for me right now??" Sasuke kept mumbling things to himself.

"Are? I thought I sent a person to tell you that we'd meet at the usual?" Naruto asked as he walked through the long hallways of the Hokage tower.

"I- well couldn't trust them" Sasuke mumbled embarassed.

"Heh, but i have a few more things to attend to, go warming up, this 1 month will be hell for you." Naruto cackled sadistically that sent shivers down Sasuke's spine.

"Don't worry! I'm just letting you in on my training regimen, by yours truly my pet" Naruto licked his lips.

'I feel like I should ask Kakashi if joining in on his training routine wouldn't kill me' Sasuke thought with beads of sweat rolling down his cheek.

"Stop acting like I'm you're domesticated pet!" Kurama protested.

"But you are, you live in my mind, you live in my body, and my abode is my mind so you are a domesticated pet." Naruto pointed as a matter of fact.

"EXCUSE ME?!" Sasuke shouted.

"What? 10 laps around Konoha for 15 minutes isn't even that hard" Naruto spoke oblivious.

"That's because I'm not someone who has unending stamina!" Sasuke grumbled.

"Stop complaining, I did 30 laps around Konoha for 10 minutes when I was three" Naruto spoke as if talking about the weather.

"Well guess what, I'm not you!"

"Do you really want to be strong or not?" Naruto asked.

"Ofcourse I do! I just don't want to die at day 1 of our training!"

"It's not gonna kill you, besides I'm here if something happens"

"Ugh"

"Either you run 10 laps for 15 mins or I'll leave you alone in the forest of death for a whole day, take it or leave it?"
