All kages left Konoha, traumatized to the bone. The fact that they still haven't kicked the bucket during that... meeting was a miracle.

"Hey Naruto. Did you also feel that barrier erected all around the village? I think the other shinobis weren't able to sense it, only i could." Sasuke asked Naruto as they wandered around Konoha aimlessly.

"Barrier? I don't know, i don't remember."

"Oh that was on me, I placed a barrier so noone will be able to get in and out, and in the process they wouldn't be able to sense what is happening outside."

Kurama sensed Naruto's unsaid question and answered, "It's because your chakra is still roaming around his pathway, normally your chakra will never be noticed but by him, it'll be."

'Oh okay now i understand.'

"Naruto?" Sasuke asked, concerned.

Naruto snapped back to reality, looking at Sasuke. "You spaced out" The raven wore an exasperated face.

"Sorry, I just tried to recall my memories" The blonde smiled.

"Hey Naruto!" A voice called out to the blonde as Naruto turned to the voice and saw that it was his Godfather, Jiraiya.

Naruto's mood immediately changed since Jiraiya joined their conversation. He still has lingering anger for this man for abandoning him to suffer. Though he now understands the circumstances why he was abandoned, he's not someone who can forgive easily.

It'll take long before I'll be able to warm up to him.

"We're going to search for your Godmother!" was the sentence that caught Naruto's attention, as well as Sasuke's.

At this point, the raven isn't shocked by the fact that the blonde's godfather was the Legendary Toad Sage of the Legendary Sannin, Jiraiya.

"Hey boy! Do you want to come along?" Jiraiya asked Sasuke who turned to him.

"I will as long as Master agrees to it." He replied straightly.

"Master? You're Naruto's disciple? Wow, so young yet you already have an apprentice, Naruto!" Jiraiya ruffled Naruto's hair with a massive grin, but it seemed to infuriate the blonde.

"Would you stop?" He snapped, "I still have not forgiven you for abandoning me, so stop acting like you're so close." Naruto walked faster and went ahead of the other two.

Sasuke understood what Naruto was doing, because if it was him in Naruto's position, he'd do the same. After all, it runs in the Uchiha blood to forgive but never forget.

Jiraiya's mouth was wide agape, he understood what the boy felt so he wanted to make up for his absence. "Hey what if! I'll tell you more about your father, in exchange we go search for your godmother? Deal?"

That got Naruto stop abruptly.

His aura changed from dangerous to like the sun, warm. "Really? You'll tell me about my father?" He asked cheerfully, it is a mystery how he can change mood so quickly.

'Damn' Both men thought.

"Sure! Go pack your things we're going on an adventure!" Jiraiya matched the blonde little boy's energy.

"Are we going with Sasuke too?" He asked.

"If he wants to, I've no problem with it." Jiraiya shrugged.

"I'm fine as long as he's okay with it." Sasuke said.

"Then! You're going with us!" Naruto cheered as he skipped his way to the Hokage Tower.
