CHAPTER 15: BLESSING OR CURSE? (EDITED)

"My experiment protecting my target" It hissed once again.

As Naruto saw Orochimaru, he was frozen. He himself didn't know why, it wasn't out of fear or anything.

"Naruto keep it together!" Kurama exclaimed in worry as his jailor stood there frozen infront of Orochimaru.

Memories came rushing back to Naruto as if he's having flashbacks. But he doesn't remember any of these?

He stood there as he watched a younger version of him being tortured and 'tested' by Orochimaru. Different kinds of syringes were injected to his body, after that he was tortured to know if their procedure worked.

He heard Orochimaru chuckle maniacally as he watched Kabuto Yakushi inject even more suspicious substances to his younger self's body,

"You will be my greatest experiment! Uzumaki Naruto!" The snake laughed with Kabuto Yakushi chuckling.

He wanted to stop this, he doesn't want any more torture whether from the villagers or from this traitor, he tried punching Orochimaru but he went through him.

"Is this only an illusion?" He wondered.

Meanwhile in the mortal plane, Orochimaru had already used his long neck jutsu, taking advantage of the fact that Naruto is currently paralyzed, he gave Sasuke a hickey then his neck retracted.

Sasuke screamed in agony as pain came rushing throughout his body, he clutched the part where Orochimaru bit him as he knelt due to not being able to endure the agonizing pain.

Naruto heard Sasuke's screams faintly when suddenly the mirages of his past dissapeared, he could only feel anger burning throughout his body as he rushed towards Orochimaru.

"You will pay for this!!!" Naruto growled when suddenly his vision, somehow was enhanced, he could see... death?

He heard a chuckle, immediately looking around to see it was but there was noone.

"You have successfully unveiled the power of thee death goddess. Behold, the shinigan! MUWAHAHAHAHAHAH" Naruto looked at the female weirdo indifferently, "You're not scary ma'am"

"You dare speak so casually towards a god?!" She exclaimed.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry, but where are we?"

"We are in the deepest plane of consciousness, i have come here to teach one how one shall use the ultimate power."

"Ultimate power?"

"Shinigan. It is the eye of yours truly, death goddess." She declared.

"Okay ......"

The death goddess then proceeded to explain what it's power is;

"So that's what my black affinity was for"

"You have theorised it correctly, for that I applaud you"

Before he could ask even more questions, he was returned to reality.

He glared at Orochimaru who looked surprised.

"By looking at thy opponent, you shall know it's weaknesses and strengths, thus making it weak in thy view. Defeat them before they could slither back into the darkness!" He remembered Shinigami say this.

But before he could kill Orochimaru, he was stopped. This gave the opportunity for Orochimaru to escape.

Sasuke, even if still in pain, ran to him and hugged him from behind.

"I'm fine Naruto, please stop now, calm down, please." Sasuke mumbled, gritting his teeth in pain.

Naruto immediately calmed down and looked at Sasuke, "Let's hurry to the meeting place, I'll treat you there"

With that all of them vanished.

'So that was the reason he has the wood style...' Kurama wondered, 'But that Tenzo guy was also an experiment of Orochimaru, yet he can't even control it to 1% of how much Naruto can, how is that possible?'

One chuckled from above, "It is I who had done it" She spoke, not like anyone can hear her anyway.
