Sickly cute confessions.

I'm in the middle of ordering my dinner when I get the notification that Tommy's streaming. I smile lazily at his name. Tommy. I click on the notification. I'm surprised to see he's already started. "Hey guys, this is going to be quick." He breathes in, placing his head in his hands. "There's this girl." he peaked his eyes from his hands to glance at chat. He chuckled "Yeah, she's pretty."

He rest his head on his fist. "I need advice. How does one hypothetically ask a girl out." The chat flooded with advice and Tommy's eyes skimmed over all of them. He nodded his head once or twice before pulling out a notebook and seemingly writing down all the advice given to him. "Alright guys, I'm ending now. I'll delete the Vod. Please don't spread this." He laughs, running a hand through his hair. "Wish me luck," He says before ending.

I breathe in and I breathe out. I don't even consider the fact that he could be talking about someone else. Because I don't want to. And like a stupid lovesick teenager I sat by my front door all night. I started to realize maybe... Tommy liked a different girl. I gulped. Now more than ever I wanted to tell him the details of my most sacred thoughts. I wanted to tell him every hope or dream I've ever had.

I rush out the door wearing no shoes, only my fluffy sheep socks. I looked a mess but every bone in my body was telling me I had to see him. Step by step I made my way down the stairs of my apartment block. The last step I missed and fell down. Still I peeled myself off the filthy floor and made my way to the door. I outstretched a hand to the handle, but before I could even open the door someone else opens it for me.

"Tommy?" "Iris?" Our face are so close together I'm afraid he can feel my rapid breaths on his face, hear the thump of my heartbeat. "What- what are you doing?" he stutters, running a hand through his hair and letting a large breath of air out. "I- um... I was actually on my way to see you." Tommy's eyes widen "I was on my way to see you!" he says a little too loudly for three in the morning.

Hope surges through me. "Why did you want to see me?" I look up to him and laugh at his scrunched up face "Well..." He directs his gaze to look me in the eyes. "Are you laughing at me?" I compose myself for a second. "...No-" I say before bursting into laughter. I cover my face with my hands "Stop laughing-" Tommy demands with fake annoyance. Tommy's sentence is cut off with laughter.

Once he calms down and I continue to laugh he begins trying to pry my hands away from my face. "Stop-" he laughs again. I bring my hands down from my face. Our faces are almost mushed together. Laughter ceases, Tommy's hands remain wrapped around mine. The moment of peace is interrupted when Tommy quickly pecks my lips. "Yep, goodbye." He says, face red and hands clammy.

Tommy whips around and begins walking away. I stand in shock for a moment before running to him. "Where are you going?" I ask, out of breath. Tommy's gaze darts around the empty street, as if searching for an answer. I place both my hands on either side of Tommy's face. "Kiss me again." I demand, exasperated. Tommy leans down and I can tell he's with holding the urge to call me short. Quickly, like its the end of the world I connect our lips.

It was sweet. It was needy. It was perfect. Just as fast as our lips collided, they parted. We were both panting, gasping for air. He runs a hand through his mop of hair. "That was nice," He comments, out of breath. I nod in agreement. Grabbing his hand, I yank him back to my apartment block. "What are you doing?" He laughs. I turn my head to look at him. "Sleepover." Tommy laughs again, "Alright,"

I dragged Tommy up to my apartment. Once we got there I insisted on building a pillow fort to Tommy's dismay. I finished the fort, which only took me an hour. "Looks cool," Tommy says, not bothering to look up from his phone. I crawl through the abundance of pillows and blankets. "Tommy, come join me!" I shout. "Comin'," Tommy mumbles, tiredly. Tommy groggily crawls in after me.

He collapses, dramatically on top of me. I card my fingers through his curls. "I have my switch. We can play Minecraft." Tommy slightly perks up this. Chuckling, I grab my Nintendo and open Minecraft. The game loads and I click on my survival world. "Do you wanna see my iron golems?" I whisper. No answer. "Tommy?" I look down at him to find him fast asleep. I sigh, turning off my switch and falling asleep beside him.

"Goodnight, Tommy."
