"Eddie! Eddie!" Dustin shouted, having not heard Ellie's comment, instead just focusing on the glass that was pressed against her throat.

Eddie turned to Dustin, completely in shock over the situation that was unfolding before him, his whole body tense to the point of which he still had the bottle pointed at Ellie, and his arm pinning her to the wall.

"It's me! It's Dustin." He told him, moving forwards slightly, trying desperately to calm Eddie. "This is Ellie! You know Ellie!" desperation filled his voice.

Eddie turned back to Ellie, his eyes no longer carrying the threatening and dangerous look they had before, and instead they were overwhelmed with fear and worry. He stared into her eyes for a couple of seconds, her staring back, her facial expression calm and careful, just trying to work out what was going through his mind. This alleviated his anxiety slightly, seeing a friendly face, and he instantly felt a little more relaxed. Realising the position he had her in, he glanced at her neck, seeing a singular drop of blood dripping from the small cut the bottle had made.

Without a seconds thought he immediately stepped back, dropping the bottle which clattered to the floor. "I am so sorry." He told her, hands up in the air as if to surrender.

She exhaled slightly, relieved to be able to breathe without the worry of being stabbed in the jugular, even if it was accidental. "It's okay." She reassured him.

Eddie was relieved she was alright, until she pressed her hand to her throat, seeing the blood that was there. He tensed again, overwhelmed with guilt that he had caused pain to her.

"See? We're not going to hurt you." Dustin told Eddie, causing him to realise once again the gravity of the situation he was in, he turned to the group surrounding Dustin, eyes becoming dark and threatening, and his pose readying to strike.

"That's Steve." Dustin told him, noticing where his eyes had landed.

Eddie was about to go into full attack mode yet again, recognising Steve "The Hair" Harrington and not feeling any safer in the knowledge that he was here.

"He's cool! He's cool!" Dustin shouted as Eddie took a step forward towards Steve. "Steve, drop the oar."

The makeshift weapon was dropped to the ground.

"What are you doing here?" Eddie demanded of Dustin.

"We're looking for you." He told him.

"We're here to help." Robin spoke.

Eddie's eyes darted to her, unable to shake the feeling of uneasiness over being surrounded by these people.

"Eddie, these are my friends." Dustin told him, his voice calm and collected, trying to create a safe atmosphere. "You know Robin, from band."

Ellie smiled slightly as Robin imitated playing her instrument, sound effects included, purely due to nerves.

"And this is my friend, Max." Dustin continued, "The one who never wants to play D&D?"

Max greeted Eddie with a simple wave.

"Eddie, we're on your side." Dustin told him.

He still couldn't shake the feeling that he had been compromised and that he was going to get carted off by cops, branding him a murderer and locking him away forever. He was near enough shaking due to fear, still unsure of what had even happened that caused him to be in this position in the first place.

Ellie noticed this, and took a slow step towards him, placing her hand on his arm and watching as his clenched fists slightly loosened. She looked at him, as he looked to the ground. "We are, I promise you." she told him, her gaze unfaltering as his eyes darted up to meet hers, looking for an indication as to whether or not she was telling the truth.
