Arrested

I stared at Kikimora for a few seconds. "Golden Guard-" Kikimora started. "Don't call me that." I interrupted. Honestly, I knew this was going to happen eventually, but not today. "Excuse me?" Kikimora bellowed. "Don't call me that." I repeated. "I will call you what I want." She snapped. I rolled my eyes and closed the door in her face. But, she put her foot infront of it before it closed. "Wait, golden guard" she commanded. I opened the door wider so we could talk face to face.

"What do you want?" I huffed. "Belos would like you to be the golden guard, and before you disagree- if you disagree, you will be sent to The Conformatorium." She explained. I looked at her in disbelief. "No- I'm not going back to the emperor's coven. End of story." I knew I would be sent to The conformatorium, but that would be better than the emperor's coven.
"Okay then, you left me no choice." Kikimora huffed.

~ a hour or two later ~

I was in the Conformatorium already. It felt like it had been hours, yet it had only been at least 30 minutes. I sat in the corner thinking to myself. How did I end up like this? I shouldn't have answered the door. It's all my fault. Ugh.. I groaned as I crawled over to the iron bars. I grabbed them trying to somehow lift up the door enough for me to crawl out.

"It's no use," I heard a voice say. I look up and see a coven scout. "Steve?" I somehow manage to say. My throat felt dry, I hadn't had anything to drink for a very long while. "Yes, it is i, your great coven scout. Though I heard that you, formerly known as the golden guard, didn't want to join the emperor's coven, so chose the Conformatorium instead" He explained. I rolled my eyes sarcasticly.

I crawled back over to the corner and sat there. The coven scout, Steve, was still staring at me. "Uh, do you mind?" I stammered. "No" He replied. I closed my eyes and leaned my head against the wall. "If I agree to being the golden guard again," I started, "would I be let out?" I opened my eyes looking at Steve. He looked like he was thinking. "Hm, I'd have to ask belos. It is a possibility though." He said, looking down at me. "Can you ask him?" I added quickly. He nodded and walked off.

After several minutes, he came back with a grin on his face. "So, Belos said that if you would like, you could be the golden guard again. But, we have to wait for further notice." He explained. I nodded closing my eyes once again.
