A/N: Hello readers, I am back with another chapter. Have fun with it and dont forget to comment.

I stand, watching as Naruto strikes Kabuto across the chest with the Rasengan.

Tsunade gasps as Kabuto is blasted across the ground, sinking into the dirt as the impact of the Rasengan drives him into the ground.

Naruto's clone vanishes, and the boy sinks to his knees in exhaustion.

Tsunade looks up at me with wide eyes.

"You...really believe in him." She says quietly.

I turn to Tsunade, giving her a kind smile.

"Someday, you will too. He has that effect on people." I explain.

The feeling in the air changes, almost like changing altitudes.

It's a strange sensation, as if a pressure around my chest suddenly eased off.

I can't recognize this feeling as anything other than...loneliness?

Not even loneliness, but a sorrowful desire.

Like the nostalgic feeling of a changing era.

Yet, I can't explain why I would be having this feeling...

"Oh dear." Tsunade says below me as she desperately struggles to her feet.

A few feet away, Naruto collapses onto his stomach.

"Naruto?" I call over to him

"Are you okay?" I ask as I take a pained step towards him.

Tsunade slides to a halt in a kneeling position beside Naruto.

Her hands frantically push on Naruto's chest as she closes her eyes as releases her chakra.

"His...his arteries. Too much chakra in his body. He...he's burned them." Tsunade recounts aloud, probably for her own verification, not my own.

I realize what the feeling that I felt earlier was.

It was the sensation of Naruto's chakra fading.

Never had Naruto's chakra faded so low.

This is the first time i've ever been without the heat of Naruto's chakra nearby.

I don't like it. It makes me feel very alone.

"No." Tsunade says, her eyes brimming with tears.

"NO." She repeats more forcefully.

Far away, Kabuto rises slowly back to his feet.

His head hangs tiredly, but he manages a shaky step towards us.

"Ha!" Kabuto laughs loudly.

The echo of his laugh reaches me across the clearing.

"I've cut off the blood flow to his arteries. He's going to die!" Kabuto realizes in delight. "Not even you can save him, Tsunade."

I watch Naruto's body in confusion.

His chest rises and falls slowly, and I don't see any signs of lack of blood-flow.

The only thing that seems off about him is his lack of chakra-presence in my own sense of surroundings.

"There must be some mistake." I insist, kneeling by Naruto's side. "His heart is still beating. You can still do something, Tsunade."

"The heart is the one organ I can't heal." Tsunade whispers, grabbing Naruto by his cheeks tenderly.
