Hama Oasis: 2 Weeks Later
Sachi was a great teacher...when she actually got around to teaching.
Half the time I was dragging laundry baskets and grocery bags to and from the old house, occasionally finding the time to fix leaks and breaks around her house (which she graciously offered to let me stay in).
The other half of the time was serious training.
I've conditioned my body to its peak.
Sachi seemed to dislike my use of the Body-Flicker jutsu, but she assisted me in practicing even chakra control to perform the jutsu even better.
Mostly, she conditioned my physical body through Taijutsu.
HECK YEAH!
Since I have perfected chakra control beyond any improvement, Sachi has agreed to finally help me discover my chakra nature.
Today, in fact.
I'm a little bit excited, and I have no clue how she will go about it.
Ever since Sachi announced this portion of the training, Yuta and Ren have been filling my head with absurd ideas.
It's getting to the point where I'm seriously considering the idea that the process involved Sachi drinking my blood (Yuta's idea, of course).
I have heard of a paper that somehow tells you your nature.
Currently, I sit on the tall dark rocks of the desert, waiting for Sachi to meet me in the usual training spot.
To prevent nosy onlookers, the two of us have been training a couple of dozen yards outside of the village, but still close enough to feel comfortable.
Today, though, Sachi has agreed to allow Yuta and Ren watch--a special treat for the two.
Yuta is excitedly fidgeting to my right, and Ren sits calmly waiting by my feet.
"Do you think she's even coming?" I say jokingly, keeping my eyes peeled on the village for Sachi.
Eventually, I see Sachi trudging towards us from the village.
She carries nothing in her arms, and the three of us decide to stand respectfully as we watch her approach.
The old lady arrives, ignores my two companions, and shuffles over to me.
"Let's be quick about this." Sachi sighs and holds out a small snippet of paper to me.
I'm silent as I take the paper to examine it.
I blink in surprise as the paper wrinkles in my grasp.
I turn it over, attempting to find any instructions on the paper, but Sachi snatches it back quickly.
"Lightning Release." Sachi reiterates for me, almost as if this should have been obvious. "I was hoping that with your hard head, you would have an Earth Release." She sighs, pocketing the paper for safekeeping.
I glance briefly towards my hands before back up at Sachi.
Lightning Release?
The only people I know with an active Lightning Release are Kakashi and Sasuke, and they have both proven to me that Lightning is a rather...difficult to control...element. Kakashi killed Haku, the young boy from the Land of Waves, by accident with his Lightning jutsu.
Sasuke, from the rare instances I've seen him use Lightning, has never even tried to control it...
"I don't know any Lightning jutsu off the top of my head...this might be difficult."
