Not knowing where this information came from was rather frustrating, and unnerving at the best of times. Loki did not particularly like wandering around at the whims of another person for seemingly no reason. He knew that this Rohan seemed to be important enough that Aragorn was worried about it, and that whatever was going on was serious enough that they suddenly left their original track to another one, but that did not mean that he trusted this sudden source of information. He wanted more knowledge so that he knew what they were doing, why they were doing it, and what the purpose of all of this was. However, he did not think that Aragorn was going to give him more information than what everyone else was given already. He may tell Legolas, the two seemed somewhat close, but either was Loki was not going to force the information. It was too much effort.
"Loki, are you alright?" Legolas questioned, his voice gentle, soft, and low. He did not want to startle the mage, but he also knew that they needed to be careful. Loki had seemed rather high winded at the moment, and for the last several days too. From what Legolas was able to tell, Loki seemed as though he was about ready snap any day, all day long. It would not take that much time, and it was terrifying considering the huge swarm of power that the other held. Legolas himself did not really know what the extent of his power was. It was terrifying to think of just how little they understood of Loki's magic. Legolas knew quite well that there was a lot of limitations on the magic he had used previously, though perhaps others may not have seen it. Whatever magic it was that Loki held, it was tied to his being, his self.
"I am fine," Loki said with a heavy sigh outwards. "There is nothing to worry over just yet." Loki admitted. As much as he may hate to admit it, he understood that they needed to watch Rohan, because whatever it may be, apparently it was important. This King of Rohan seemed to be somewhat influential. If the Dark Lord was trying to gain control of the mortal world, it was a good way to go about it. Affect all the Kings. It was one way to go about it, but Kings were not so easily manipulated, at least not ones that are strong and careful. It would take a lot of time, effort, and care. Dangerous, this person had to have been. To be able to so completely manipulate the King of Rohan out of nowhere.
"I see," Legolas said gently. He did not press further, he did not argue, he did not fight him to continue to try and pry the information out of Legolas. It was something that he definitely appreciated from Legolas. Haldir...Haldir was eyeing him carefully, and he knew that neither Elf quite believed him, but did not disprove him either. "Well, just so that you are aware, I do want you to be careful. When we come to Rohan, it is going to be quite dangerous. I know you are not very aware of the geography of the land..." Though Loki noticed that they were still curious about that. He had studied, though, at times but he more than anyone else knew that studying maps was different than real life geography. "And likely the history escapes you at times, so I really want you to be very careful when we get to Rohan."
"I know well enough how to handle the affairs of Nobles," Loki said carefully, his eyes catching Legolas' own. He was serious, and he knew that his tone would convey that enough to help alleviate his worry. "I have more than enough experience in dealing with Nobles, and I am aware of how to handle myself amongst the court." He said, a idle shrug of his shoulder.
"Good..." Legolas said, not bothering saying anything more. He pulled his body forwards, leaving Haldir near Loki once more. Loki glanced to the side, waiting for Haldir to say something, but luckily, he did not. Surprisingly, Haldir did not argue, he did not say a word, and for once, Loki was able to somewhat relax and think about what was going on. What they should do, though he figured that it was unlikely that any of that information would be used, but Loki could not help himself.
He was used to trying to figure things out. He was used to contemplating plans way in advance in case something were to go wrong. He had proved that in the Tomb, and despite that, he was still worried. Worried that perhaps that was just a one time thing. He hummed, breathing carefully as he continued to stress. He did not want to stress, but it was too late for that. He was already stressing himself out thinking about what he needs to even do. Or how he was supposed to try and bring his concerns or worries to the team. He knew that it was useless. He was worried, but he doubted that it would do him any good to talk to the others about what he thought about this situation. The look that Aragorn had given him was answer enough that it would not be taken.
He wondered if perhaps he should talk to Legolas about what he was worried about, but he knew that Haldir would get on him for that, and as much as Loki enjoyed toying with the Elf, it was getting exhausting. He was tired, and really did not want to have to deal with more than the few upcoming interrogations that he knew were coming his way, particularly since Legolas revealed his lack of information about this earth. His studies, he had done quite in depth studies, but even those had their limitations and were not perfect.
He refused to speak to Gimli about what he worried over. Gimli was about as tolerable as Thor, and that was to say not a lot. The Dwarf reminded him of Thor, or perhaps Baldwin, either way he was annoying, and Loki would prefer to limit his interactions with them as much as possible. It was already frustrating trying to deal with Aragorn, add the Dwarf, and Haldir? It was frustrating enough just wandering around. he did not even have to speak and it was agitating.
"How far until we reach Rohan?" Loki questioned Haldir. The other hummed, before gracing him with an answer.
"About another two days, at least."
