It has come to my attention that a specific individual is nitpicking on the validity or accuracy in terms of the mythology and the movie, and the comics of Loki. lets make something clear. for one, Loki and middle earth never existed, and for two, even if they did, Loki never went to Middle Earth. Yall are reading a damn fanfiction that doesn't even happen in the first place. okay? Second, this individual is mixing the different Loki's together and confusing the movie, the comics, and the mythology together, so my guess is they probably aren't actually entirely sure what they're talking about and just arguing for the sake of arguing.

So, lets set the mythology straight here. Loki mothered one child. Sleipneir, that Odin then confiscated and rides as some sort of trophy or some other. This also happened when Odin had a little hissy fit that the crafter he made a bet with was actually going to manage what Odin deemed impossible and he was actually going to have to pay for him. No, we don't know how old Loki was when he birthed Sleipneir.

Now, if we are mixing the mythology and the movies together. In the movies, not the mythology, the movies, in the movies Loki dies at a minimum of 1,054. However this is at odds with the Thor movie, where it is said he is 1070 years old. He didn't time travel, so again, his death date is dependent and it is weird. You need to choose which one you want to go by, because he can't be both 1070 during thor, and 1054 during avengers endgame. Doesn't add up. Basic maths. Now, Thor is believed to be 1,500 years old. At 1,500 he is just over 400 years older than Loki. By the movies, Loki would have already mothered Sleipneir, since we see Odin ride him. No, Loki did not mother the other children in that sense. He only strictly mothered one child, that was then taken from him. He sired the rest, however, Loki would still be considered a mother, and can easily be said to be motherly, or considered a mom to the other children, especially since Loki can literally shapeshift and jotuns are gender fluid.

Jotun, let us be clear, are shapeshifters. Well known shapeshifters, and can shapeshift into humans, and animals depending on the jotun-we know Loki is able to do this. Jotun are known to have weaknesses to godly weapons, and heat...specifically. They are able to manipulate ice, known for feats of great strength, incredibly durable, agile, and immune to cold. Now, the Jotuns are known to live AT LEAST AS LONG as Aesir. That does not mean that they age the same way, mentally, nor does it mean that they mature as fast, or even mean they don't live longer. They are known to live AT LEAST AS LONG. That does not mean they live the same, it merely means that according to known records, and mythology, they live at least 5000. Aesir live TO 5000. Get the difference? That means Jotuns are more than likely to live longer than the Aesir, who live up to 5000 years old.

The Aesir become static in age. However some do not. Key traits are Loki, Frei, and Ull. Now, the movies changed this to aging extremely slowly. Whilst in reality some age, some don't, some mature, some dont. We know Thor, apparently, matured and got his hammer and is considered an 'adult' and therefore capable of taking over the throne. Thor was 1500. So by this logic, Aesir can be, in the movies, considered to mature and become an adult at 1500 years of age. This is considered to be around 30 years of age in human mortal years. In. The. Movies. Now, Loki, in the movies, in Thor, is only 1070. This means, Loki is not an adult. This means, Loki has not matured. This means, Loki, would be considered a minor in Mortal years. Directly correlating his Aesir age, which may or may not be correct, because as previously stated, Jotun live to AT LEAST 5000 years, which means it is presumed they live longer than that, and therefore would age at a different rate and slower, he would be considered 21, around. However. Because in most countries on earth at the time that Thor was made consider an adult to be 18 to 21 years of age, Loki would not fit that depiction, because he has not become an adult or matured yet, therefore just because his Aesir age matches a 21 year old, does not mean he would be considered 21. Furthermore, from inference, Jotuns age slower, because again...they live AT LEAST as long as Aesir. . Thor has matured, and become an adult to the Aseir, whereas Loki has not. We know this because Thor got his naming ceremony from Odin, where he was gifted Mjolnir and was to become King. Loki has not had this ceremony, though he would not become King, he would become secondary heir until Thor had children. Therefore, Loki has not matured, and is not an adult, but Thor is, and Thor is over 400 years older than Loki. Therefore, most people would put Loki's age, around 16 or 17 in the Avengers. Which means in Thor he would most likely be aged around 14 or 15. Because he is not an adult in terms of Aesir society, so he cannot be an adult in terms of Human society. Despite the fact that his direct age would be believed to be 21, Thor barely became an adult at 30. So....again...The aging system is complicated, and this is only in reference to the Movies. Not the mythology.
