"Did you hear the rumour going around?" A man whispered.

"What rumour?" A woman replied, puzzled.

"I heard the Silverattii family are gonna be attending the gathering," He whispers into her ear.

The lady audibly gasped and placed her hands over her mouth, "You're kidding, they haven't been to a gathering of gangs for four years."

"I know it sounds crazy but maybe they got over the loss of the Godmother. Cancer is a bitch, I do feel sorry for them all, mainly the youngest twins," The man looked to the ground.

The room slowly fills with whispers as the rumour spreads to everyone in the hall. Four years of not attending any gatherings or balls so this was a shock to all. The most powerful mafia family in the country is coming back to attend. Other than families that have deals and contracts with the Silverattii's have seen them since. Others could only go based on what they hear so whether it's truth or lies is not known.

"Lapin, what is everyone talking about?" A man said in a deep Russian accent as he looked at his friend.

"You don't know the Silverattii's?" Lapin said shocked, "Their family owns and runs the Silverattii car company, you know the car you drive and love. They are the biggest family here and have been MIA since the Don's wife passed away. I would not recommend getting on their bad side, Yuri. The things I've heard about that family are crazy, you really do not wanna piss off the youngest. Get on her bad side you get on the entire family's bad side and her family will beat your ass to death."

"What's so special about her?" Yuri took a sip of his drink as he raised a brow.

"I heard from others that are super close to the family. She's the first girl born into that family after generations of only males. On top of being one of the twins so their family adores her. Not only that but I hear she's the perfect example of a natural-born killer with a stare that can and has killed. She has perfected her father's murderous glare that not even her older brothers have mastered."

"Sounds like my kind of woman," Yuri smirks at Lapin.

Lapin was about to speak again but the doors to the hall opened and the room fell silent. It was so quiet in that hall you could hear a pin drop. Everyone watches as the Silverattii's enter the room. From the Don Dexter, eldest Hugh, Fernando the second born, Blaise third eldest and the twins Luca and Jade.

All were dressed to the nine for their first appearance in four years. The Don is in a black suit with a cloak and on the cloak thick white fur around the collar. The brothers are all in matching gray suits with small differences. Hugh has no tie and a few buttons undone to show his chest tattoo. Fernando did up with a tie and everything, Blaise with a bow tie and a family pocket watch in his pocket with the chain hanging out. Luca is without a jacket or tie but a matching scarf.

Jade wore a stunning solid navy blue cross crop halter top with a navy blue floor-length skirt. The skirt flows as she walks and shows off the long hip-high cut. It even shows off her heels of the night, strappy navy blue suede six-inch sandal stiletto heels. Her butt-long jet black hair was done in a half up and half down twist to keep her hair out of her face. Her makeup makes her jade green eyes pop even more to match her outfit.

People lower their heads as the family walks past to show respect. A few greet the family welcoming them and giving condolences for their loss. The don tells his kids that they can go off and do as they please but not get into fights. All five of them bow their heads before walking off. Jade sticks to her eldest brother Hugh's side as they both go to get a drink. She doesn't get an alcoholic drink but a soft drink as she doesn't want to drink. She takes her drink and leaves to find an empty table to sit at and enjoys her drink.
